Re: IDDQDerp

Given any thought to playing Painkiller? Though I suppose Bulletstorm could be considered a semi-sequel to that.

Re: IDDQDerp nextplay poll

If you were going to do a Let's Derp for Call of Pripyat, what mods were you going to use? Something in the style of LURK to add Silent Hill-esque atmosphere; or something more along the lines of SMod for maximum goofiness?

Re: IDDQDerp

Smod was hilarious. I kept getting light-headed from all the laughing. I thought I was going to pass out.

Though my abs are amazing now.

Re: A Swiftly Tilting Cameron

Is the title of this stream a reference to a Madeleine L'Engle book? I've only read a few of those novels in that series.

I'm feeling a pinball simulator of some sort. One of those that manages to work a story into the table.

Alex, have you played any of the sequels and prequels to Stalker? Or for that matter seen the movie?

Re: The Game Venting Thread

So I re-installed Vampire Bloodlines earlier this week, because I saw Zero Punctuation's "Dark" a little bit ago and watched several episodes of Diamanda Hagan movie reviews. This time around I tried it with the "Unofficial Patch Plus" instead of the "True" patch, but I...

Book Recommendations?

Are any of the tie-in novels good?

Are there any comedies?

I've read "Arena" way back when, and thought it was pretty good. I guessing it's not in canon anymore.

Re: TTC - Theros Overview

Theros seems kind of cool with all these abilities interacting with each other. Seems you could build some really crazy IKEA guns.

The Hundred-Handed One seems to be a good answer to those decks designed around the populate keyword. Like that plague of rats deck.

Do you think Failsworth Headwear is going to get a sudden jump in both pageviews and purchases this week? Because the moment I finished watching this video I popped over to see if it existed.

My god, it's full of tweed!

Milangee is an interesting nickname. Sounds kind of like an exotic disease, perhaps spread by mosquito or form contact with certain space aliens.

In Graham's parent's study, why is a book tied shut? I'm finding that both intriguing and worrying.

Also, did you ever find the cave? Tracked down a forest official-guide to ask if it existed?

Re: Shadowrun Returns

I once read a Shadowrun novel, which I rather enjoyed and got me interested in the games. I tried reading its sequel, which was disappointingly tedious. Couldn't find anyone else near me that was interested in buying the manuals and setting up gaming sessions, however. I'm probably going to buy this...

Re: The Peripherals

I find it strange that the Power Glove hasn't made a return. It seems well-suited for motion-control games. Remember that movie "Minority Report?" That had cool motion-control gloves, and seemed almost like product-placement for the newest next-gen peripherals. It would make Spiderman game...

Re: PARANOIA MAFIA DAY-CYCLE 7

I did find this fun, though my inexperience with Mafia-style games might have been working against me. Without knowing the finer points of the game, I fell back on roleplay. Your challenges and GM-ing in-character were rather inspired. Maybe if we can get our hands on some actual manuals, we could p...
