The video was great. It just cracks me up that guys would sit outside a mall for games that haven't been released yet. I'm anxiously awaiting Diablo 3 so I can relate. I'm in a hurry or I would expound on favorite scenes further. So, I submitted "Epic Nunchuk Fail" to break.com, and they m...

Re: Laser Disks in microwaves

I've got some laser disks. They are giant CD like objects that made a failed run at replacing VHS tapes during the 80's. If I send you some will you microwave them? YES. Yes we will. I never thought of microwaving a LaserDisc. That's a brilliant idea. The question I have is whether you can find a m...

Well I finally got a chance to take a shot. Two pics - one's a close up to see some details, and one is in my labyrinth of awesome. I had thought about a tattoo, but nothing on that scale. Wow. That's really impressive. Did you manage to do that in a mirror by yourself or did you enlist some help? ...

I'm in the same boat as tak... except my airfare alone would cost 31.165 times the PAX ticket, and there's hotel on top of that :( I feel a little silly complaining about how much it would cost us to get to PAX having forgotten the large number of non-Americans there are on this board (of the USA'e...

How did we have this forum for five years and NOBODY NAMED JOSHUA SIGNED UP BEFORE, HONESTLY. WHAT. I found that interesting too, finally got lucky. I now have an irrational need to see if "david" is taken...but I won't, because I'm good little forumite. I am curious, though. On topic - I...

It's just the money for me. My girlfriend would even be willing to come out with me and brave the gamer crowds, but the whole trip would run over $1k for two people including plane, hotel, food and swag. Maybe next year. :?

Depends on how many entries we get, but we will probably let it go for two podcasts. That would put the deadline at February 21, 2009 at 12:00pm PST The winners will be announced in the Feb 21 podcast That's what Paul said on the first page, but this last week's podcast said they may extend a week ...

But now I can not hit things and look even more like Captain Jack. I'm so glad I'm not the only one that sees that. I was going to comment in a video thread once about it, but I think I talked myself out of it. Driving and talking on the phone isn't bad because you have to have one hand holding the...

Jonathan Coulton on tour with Paul & Storm

I thought there would be a lot of Jonathan Coulton fans on these boards so I've started a thread in case anyone's planning to go to his concert and wants a mini LRR meet-up. I'm going to be in Madison for his Thurs, Feb 26 show. Evil Jim, you gonna be there? From his website: SOLD OUT Friday Februar...

Speaking of the Runners, I took a very brief glance through the cHustle thread and the Wiki and didn't find a 'clean' Runners graphic. The one on the website has "Coming Soon" on it. While it'd be nice to have the full graphic as reference for the contest, it'd be great as a desktop wallpa...

I loved the sign and Graham tipping the scalding hot tea. I think Jer could've done a bit more with the sour candy unless that actually was sour candy in which case he did a remarkably good job. Great vid, as always.

I know all of the characters are parodies of themselves, but does Paul have a reputation for being a tinkerer in real life? I know he'd never NESBox an XBox 360, but does he install Linux on his computers or relentlessly try to convert others to Linux?

There's a lot more control in leaving videos up on loadingreadyrun.com and certainly more feeling of accomplishment coming from Views here rather than YouTube. There are probably a zillion other reasons to be disappointed with YouTube, b...
