Re: Would I Lie To You
How old were you at the time? About 12 and a half. I was much fitter then than I am now. I have a scar on my left hand and a spot on my forehead suspiciously free of freckles due to this accident. The main concern was that I had a concussion, not so much bleeding. When you run through it hurts but ...

Re: Would I Lie To You
What possessed you to run through it in the first place? I answered this question. How did other customers at the scene react to seeing you rush through a pane of glass? Did the market attempt to get you to pay for it? As you'd expect, a lot of people just looked on, a couple came to help me and ca...

Re: Would I Lie To You
Where were you when this occurred? I was at a shopping center in Newcastle, NSW when it happened. Did it shatter, or just sort of fall apart like safety glass? Luckily, it was safety glass. Other than some superficial cuts and bruising to the front of my body and pride, I was pretty unhurt. If it s...

I was totally waiting for the second moose. You did not disappoint. Delivery wasn't quite as good as the first Van Dump, though.
The title card "It's like a 45 minute walk back to town" killed me, though as did swarming Jer for his smartphone with an actual connection.

Re: The depressing depression thread
So... I took a lot of the things I've been feeling and wrote them down. It's mostly a lot of self-hate and jazz. Was hoping it'd make me feel better. But honestly... all I feel is numb. Step up or down? Careful, Kapol. That "numb" feeling is in fact your depression. This is the most commo...

Re: PAX Australia
Apologies for missing the meetup everyone, I completely forgot until it was too late and I was signed up for stuff. It was good to see you Duckay, JackSlack and Chrusher. Honestly, I liked PAX. I didn't really have a problem with the weather other than the downpour on Saturday but it's Melbourne, it...

I must apologise for my previous misdeed of waiting until the last second to throw a grenade. I tried to do as the superior troubleshooters at the time called "cooking" and ended up killing them when I mistimed the toss.

Re: PARANOIA MAFIA DAY-CYCLE 6
Last day-cycle I attempted to fix a malfunctioning fly-bot. There were no survivors and I believe there are remnants of the fly-bot over in AHL, NMP and ZGY sectors.

There's also the fact that Microsoft's killer app, Halo has had its fanbase split right down the middle. Those that just want Halo and those that liked Bungie. If by "split right down the middle", you mean, "there's a small portion of Halo gamers that prefer whatever Bungie's doing t...

Re: Xbox One complete 360
Lightning won't strike twice with the Wii U, I feel. It will do strongly considering Nintendo has a strong foothold in both east and western markets but there's as many casuals on the side of Nintendo as those for the "hardcore" consoles. That said, the E3 offerings got the Wii U back on p...

Re: Ingress: Google making geeks go outside.
I started playing around late April and I'm nearly Level 4. There's not a great deal of portals around me and those that are are too high level for me to interact with in any way other than hacking due to also lacking transport. The times I do get to do things, I have a great deal of fun, however.

Ingress: Google making geeks go outside.
I'm not sure how many people follow this or play at all but Ingress is a closed beta augmented reality game about going outside and actually visiting cool things in your local area. The backstory is that a secret organisation known only as Niantic has discovered Exotic Matter (XM) that has the abili...

Re: Tropes vs Women Ep.2
I mean.. Why is it that a game where a man character wants to protect/save a woman character is classified as sexist? Because every goddamn game and it's damned iOS spinoff is about that. It exemplifies a dominant gendered trend in gaming narratives, and it's boring, lazy, hackneyed, and done to de...

So, I learned a few things playtesting today. Bloodrush has some awesome combination with some other gatecrash cards. Miming Slime (put a X/X Ooze token where X is the greatest power amongst creatures you control) and Predator's Rapport (Gain life equal to target creature you control's power plus to...
