I'd be willing to kick in $5-15 USD for a Route 1 box (either the 3 item or the 5 item).
I also wouldn't be able to make it to MAGfest. I'd forgotten all about it and I'll be at a conference in Texas instead.

Psyclone wrote:I suppose the obvious one for Matt is "you son of a bitch!" but I'm not sure if that's what you're going for.
I'd go with "HHHHHHSSSSSSSSS" for Matt or maybe even just a silent frump.
And I think at least one of Adam's quotes is an obvious one as well.

Re: Your 5 2015 favourites
I think the only fives I can come up with are games and DLC as I've watched 0 TV shows and fewer than 5 movies this year, most of which were movies from previous years. Games: Undertale The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Shadowrun: Hong Kong Cities: Skylines Gravity Ghost Honorable mention: Grand Theft Auto V...

Re: LRRcast - Christmas Traditions Part: 2
I was actually wondering about the oranges while listening to the part 1 podcast because my family always put an orange in the stocking as well and I also have no idea how far that tradition extents or where it started. I have learned that it's not just the Pacific Northwest (my family is from Seatt...

Yeah, if I remember right the problem is that there's a number of outfits that are only recognizable using garments that are allowed during the entrance but not during the match. Things like coats, hats, etc.

I agree, I think the editing makes it feel like a machinima series with commentary instead of the Let's Plays (live or otherwise) which literally everyone is currently doing.

Re: LRR streaming setup (as of 2014-08-26)
The setup has changed since this posting hasn't it? With a new gaming PC and the old one becoming the streaming PC (and the old streaming PC becoming the podcasting PC)? Is there an update for the setup (whenever available)?

Re: The Late Show featured "Epic Nunchuk Fail"
Would it be worthwhile for Graham or anyone at LRR to try to contact Colbert about the video and possibly Desert Bus? I feel like Desert Bus would be something Colbert would be on board with.

Re: What is a videogames?
Apparently I think of interactivity a little more loosely. I'll try to describe it: A movie isn't interactive because you only ever pressed one button, you pressed play. You can press pause, but that doesn't progress the movie or anything. The only button that progresses the movie is the play button...

Re: What is a videogames?
I've been off-and-on about reading this thread since the start, and with mixed feelings. Maybe it's because I'm a little drunk or maybe it's because I'm a little tired of the debate, but I decided to throw my pennies in the pond. As is cliche, I often find that the simplest definition can be the bes...

Re: Beej's Backlog
I'm curious, is Beej still planning to play Shadowrun: Hong Kong on stream at all? I finally got to it in my backlog and it's good...it's real good. I'm only a few missions in as a (somewhat) smart, charismatic sniper and, by intent, I haven't even had to use my sniper rifle yet. I definitely think ...

Re: Favorite and Least Favorite Boss Fights
So, I'm not sure if you mean favorite and least favorite in terms of gameplay or story (probably either) so I went with gameplay & story for now. I know I'll think about it more and I'll probably post again as a result. Favorite (story): I don't care if it's a cliche now but Luca Blight from Sui...

I said it before and I'll say it again: I think that is incredible. It reminds me of the cloth maps that came with some games in the 90s.

I've been watching some of the streams from last year on youtube and have been finding awesome LRL easter egg videos. I think the 39 second SOMA video is probably a record speedrun.

Re: Watch + Play
Maybe everyone involved was more unhinged after the first game...and the second game. I didn't think Lance could be more unhinged after the second game but then I watched a few seconds of the third that mtvcdm linked. Did we end up watching the slow descent into madness of an entire development team?

It's nice to see that the numbering on Youtube is lined up now. I thought I had missed an episode as it jumped from 2 to 4 (Break the Banks to Harvest Festival), but it's just that first episode on youtube is listed as 01 for episode 00 - Pot Hole Mystery on the thumbnail. Also I really like the bit...

Re: Let's play through our backlogs
I finished a few more games on my backlog. I played Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure. It was inoffensive and the characters were kind of cute. I also played Endless Legend. It suffered from all the problems that Civilization: Beyond Earth does but it also has a pretty terrible menu system. Then I play...

Re: Let's play through our backlogs
So I "finished" GTA V , insofar as I finished the story mode and all the single player quests and the achievements that didn't feel terribly annoying to get. That game is worth every penny even just for the single player and I look forward to inevitably playing through it again. The graphi...

I started playing GTA V after it went on sale on Steam for $40, and because I find it very entertaining watching Graham play it. I did some looking around and found information on making use of the stock market, as well as making the most out of the heists. Stocks: http://www.reddit.com/r/GrandTheft...

And Watch Dogs is done, after about 21 hours. Only bothered with the main campaign and all the side bits that are in any way involved with the story, but not every last fixer contract or gang hideout. I still think it's not bad, there's quite a bit of missed opportunity and it does have some themat...

Re: Feed Dump 214 - The Man Who Hates Golf
I heard about the man arrested who was starring in the horror movie. Supposedly he was arrested while they were wrapping up on the last day of shooting so the director decided to keep him in the film rather than reshooting all of his parts.
