I'm more of the mind that they've captured the idea of the Batman, which is why both of the Bale Batman's have done so well, because the idea of a hero and villian are what the public conscience wants, and in some cases needs. We can easily find examples of both in our mundane world. That being said...

I'm amused at the font in the pwn clip, being the same as the facebook font. so the was last line ended with "...face-ass." Not because of the text, but because of the font. I'm sorry, I'm a desktop publishing geek. I also enjoyed the pacing of this cHustle, it seems a lot slower than prev...

I quite enjoyed the one shot. Makes editing so much easier, or harder I suppose.

I do the Midnight Mass rides as well as the hugely unpopular with motorists Critical Mass rides. I also ride all around Vancouver on a regular basis. I never liked running, at all. Fun fact, if you're at 41st and Knight and want to get the art gallery, it's possible on bike to get there in ten minut...

It's weird, HIMYM seems to pick up everyone but me. I can't put my finger on it, but I just don't like it for whatever reason.

Oh dear that was fantastic, I love the low budget-big name stuff, it gives me a little bit more faith in Hollywood.

You can get an emulator, like dosbox, and find downloads of Commander Keen all over the net. Most of them are free too, but it can a good couple of days for you to beat the games.

I would venture to guess this has been done, not necessarily by lrr, but just by Air Farce or This Hour has 22 minutes or the Rick Mercer Report.

We all remember Talking to Americans.

Which Inspector Gadget are we talking about?
Don Adams, Matthew Broderick or French Stewart

Because really, there's only one Gadget, and that's Don Adams.

And Penny always got out of it on her own as well.

As for the technobabble and tactics, most sci-fi is guilty of that.

That's Elisha Cuthbert for you. You're right, and that's why no one likes Kim Bauer. Of course things are going to be farfetched, but that's due to the subject matter. I mean 9/11 was farfetched before it happened, so writers have had to make the plots bigger and badder. All it is is suspension of d...

I found it interesting that you can build a story out of nothing and tell it in realtime. I was actually very interested in the story they told, as well as how that relates to season 7.

I'm in much the same boat as most, I've been aware of LRR for about a year and a half, but it's now after Desert Bus i've gotten more interested. My real name is Mark, I'm from Vancouver, and I play far too much in the way of 486 computer games on my mac. I work in technical theatre and spend evenin...
