PAX East 3-day passes SOLD OUT

Ya, so this sucks. Their site says there are only a limited number of individual day passes left, and LRR hasn't announced what day their panel will be on yet, probably because they don't know. I mean, I knew they would sell out, but not this quickly. Now I may not be able to go unless they find out...

Re: Lost Premiere - chock full of spoilery goodness (duh)

Except that would make 6 seasons of deep character development utterly pointless and the writers wouldn't screw their audience like that. Carlton and Lindelof have said multiple times it's not in someone's head, and that the ending will provide closure for the characters, because they know how inve...

Re: Lost Premiere - chock full of spoilery goodness (duh)

I enjoyed it, it confused the crap out of me for awhile, like it usually does. The only thing that bothered me was that Jack's hair was too long on the plane. I mean didn't he have a buzz cut originally? It's an alternate reality, remember? Certain things are the same and certain things have change...

Re: What are some good Wii games?

It just utilized the Wii controller in as many ways as possible, including ridiculously absurd moronic ways that you would never think of. And it asks you to utilize the controller in these ways in a row as quickly as possible. Fantastically entertaining.

Re: What are some good Wii games?

I will say that Wario Ware isn't for everybody. If you've played another Wario Ware title, and still want Smooth Moves I say go for it. If it's your first, however, I'd be a bit cautious. I've actually played Smooth Moves, which is why I want it. I thought it was hysterical and incredibly fun. Any ...

Same here, either a one or two-day trip. I really hope they get their panel time within the next week.

Re: Just Drive

Alright, so for a second, I was really disappointed. When the main part ended, I thought "Wow, wasn't really much of a punchline there." The joke was really just the ridiculousness of it, and the cop giving the other a piggyback ride accentuated that. As for the criminal teaching Matt how ...

Re: LRR confirms PAX East Appearance

I just posted it above but I'll post it again, for anybody offering rides, check to see if Keene, New Hampshire would be too far out of the way. I'm willing to help pay for gas, and I already have a place to crash in Boston so you don't have to worry about that.

Re: LRR confirms PAX East Appearance

Alright, I will be there. And by I will be there I mean I will be there somehow. I've already found someone in Boston willing to lend me their couch that weekend, now I just need to figure out how I'll be getting there and register for the convention. Depending on my plans, this will either be a $70...

Re: Star Trek Online

I'm on a mission to patrol a bunch of different systems (early mission). The very last part of the mission is to go to Beytan V and talk to Brian Vanderberg. Well, I'm standing right in front of him and there's no way to talk to him. This is such an early mission, how have the developers not fixed t...

Re: That One Album.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. You might also enjoy 01011001 by Ayreon, which came after The Human Equation, and also has tons of great singers from the progressive genre. The stuff before The Human Equation by Ayreon is also fantastic, but it seems like you weren't a fan of all the singing, and the earli...

Re: That One Album.

The one album that gets me in every way, shape, and form is one that I to this day still have not found one other person in real life that enjoys it, or anything else by the artist, at all. The album is The Human Equation by Ayreon. Ayreon is a project by this guy Arjen Lucassen who writes all the m...

What are some good Wii games?

Just this Christmas, I finally got a Nintendo Wii. It's the first new console I've gotten since my N64 that I've had for about 10 years now. Now before I go any further let me be clear: I'm not starting this thread to talk about the merits of the Wii console. I don't really care if you think it's gr...

Re: The game that made you a gamer

Hm, when I think back, the first games I remember playing a lot were Pokemon for Gameboy and StarCraft for PC. Then I got an N64 and while StarFox64 was the first console game I ever beat (and I beat it the real way, not the robot Andross way), the first game I ever fell in love with was Ocarina Of ...
