OK, I now understand why some of Howling Mine was so well laid out: It connects to Minion's Mine.

deathjavu, I know there's some obsidian in Howling Mine. I don't have anything capable of mining it, though, so you'd have to get it yourself or provide me something to mine it out.

Can you make it less fun?

I'm opening up Howling Mine (387, -395), which is part of my Rogue's Passage tunnel network, to public mining. The connection to the lower mine inside is a bit precarious, but once you get down there's plenty to explore. All I ask is that if you find a section of diamonds, leave a sign near my house...

Anyone have a mine that extends near 378, -384? I'm digging above there, and I can see down into an impressive looking mine. I'd like to hook the mines up, but I can't really dig down without falling a long, long way. I see torches, so I assume someone is there.

I like KinoGami's suggestion. We don't need to redo the city, just put up a few signs with directions to important buildings.
