Re: What Does Your Username Mean to You?
Originally "ecocdavid" came from a 9th grade German class (Hey Memo!). Our teacher was an environmental nut (seriously, we learned the German word for eutrophication before "sun tan lotion"), albeit a forward-looking one. One of our projects (in 1995) was to create a web page wit...

Yep. They have a "don't show rare pokemon" which probably filters out the Legendary pokemon that are banned from competitive battling. It's very nice.

Except when you run into people that make their Pokemon hold Everstones to troll you.
That is simultaneously terrible and awesome.

Wow. We'll, if anyone really does go through the effort to put this together, let me know! I really did just do this for my own amusement. It started out as just some rules scribbled on a piece of paper until I realized it was fun. It turns out making a fun game is really hard. Hmm, in the DIY guide...

ex-lurker, that's a picture of our forums' very own AlexanderDitto. "Ditto" as in "what he said." It was the most injokey way of saying "I agree that LRR is awesome so we needed to be awesome too" possible.

Re: Pokémon X and Y
Has anyone in the U.S. been able to trade using the GTS? Everytime I Seek a Pokemon and find a trading partner, I get a communication error and have to shut off my DS. Everything I put up to deposit is getting traded so either other people are able to make Seek trades or there's some sort of auto-ma...

Re: Pokémon X and Y
I adore the IV system and the ages and ages and ages it takes to breed them. How did you find the IVs on your starter so quickly? I can see a general guide on the super training (the inner pentagon), but no numbers and it would take forever to level them up enough to get a read on the IVs through a ...

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
If I had $10 million of disposable income, I would totally just scour Kickstarter to play patron to projects, backing a $10k level on a Kickstarter once or twice a month. "This looks cool. These guys have a proven record. Here's $10k. Go do something even more cool." Is there a Kickstarter...

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
Admittedly a diappointing and slow end to the Kickstarter, but I'm still hoping for second season of crapshots. I bet if the Crew gets to $179,980, they'll find a way to kick in that extra $20 to make second crapshots a thing. I would bet Paul will kick in a Things on my Head every once in a while j...

Re: Pokémon X and Y
If you're seriously worried about IVs, you're a breeder anyway, so just go for a Ditto and start breeding. Don't worry about IVs until you're breeding. I doubt anyone hardcore enough to check their IVs has ever entered battle with a Pokemon they didn't breed themselves, anyway. Just enjoy the ride t...

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
Despite my earlier allusions towards getting as much money as possible, there is a finite amount of time the Crew has to do things. It would be counter to the entire purpose of the Kickstarter if they start eating into the time they need to produce sketches just to fulfill more donation tiers. Even ...

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter
I think the last 3 days will bring in between $20k and $60k. I'll be really surprised if we don't get D&D. I'll be disappointed if we miss out on a 2nd season of Crapshots, but not be surprised, per se. "Sexy" calendar is going to be a real stretch, but not completely out of the realm ...
