Re: *sigh* Time to open Pandora's Box...
The playstation has a nicer design if that matters. I didnt think it would matter to me but when I got both of them I realized that the xbox 360 design is awful. And the cd deck makes this clunky sound when it opens.

Re: Violence in videogames
yes we do seem to be on the same page. I confused your critique of the specific game with relevance. The reason I used those kind of games is because they depict violence. many gamers show angry(easily confused with violent) behavior but yet it has absolutely nothing to do with violence. That is a h...

Re: Violence in videogames
Correction, you learn to blame others for your failings. You also learn to critique all the negative attributes of someone else to whittle them down. Even if you win. This is when you play with complete strangers by the way, where you don't have ample time to build a social structure and you have c...

Re: Violence in videogames
Well, since people can't kill each others in real life then it's very reasonable to let them do so in video games i mean, it's better to play some nasty game rather than start a killing spree in you school or work ! This is probably one of the most disturbing things i have read. If that is how you ...

Re: RTD RPG: SteamPunk/Art Deco Toffs (Discussion Thread)
Now I did something in my first post that I am not sure I am supposed to. I basically forced a success by giving Will my drink.
First question is "can I do that?"
and the other one is if you can use your own action to boost someone else´s roll?

Re: Priming Prepared Ignition, a Steampunk LRR Adventure
Joshua spends a good while taking notes about the automaton and pestering it handler with questions he is clearly not able to awnser. The librarian initially sits on Joshuas shoulder and holds his drink while Joshua writes. When it becomes clear that the drink will probably not be drunk the libraria...

Re: RTD RPG: SteamPunk/Art Deco Toffs
Just a couple of small musings. you said there would be no new technology since the end of the industrial revolution (1850) but the world is set in 1920. My question is basically if the world would still try to be like the real 1920s. For example radio did not exist 1920. does this mean there is sim...

Re: RTD RPG: SteamPunk/Art Deco Toffs
I can go for the notebook, it's inkeeping with the character that he'd find something like that and then use it for himself. Not sure about the Monkey, it has a lot of potential, but as long as it's a small monkey, no Mountain Gorillas. Post up his description and I think we'll let the other player...

I'm very interested. Character sheet will follow. Name: Joshua J Steinberg Short Bio : As a child Joshua was rather sickly and as such spent long periods of his youth in bed reading books. The game looks promising tough and that is the important bit.
Its too bad that I cant donate because none of the payment options seems to work with my credit card. (so if anyone wants to gift me ill be your friend)

Re: Baldur's Gate Stealth Question
I don't think there is any modifiers. Line of sight is basically the only thing that affects your stealth from what I understand. I don't even think there is a relation between pickpocket skill and stealth. I almost never keep a thief unless I plan on attacking the hell that is durlag's tower becaus...
