Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules

So, I knit but I have trouble with crochet. I tried giving crochet a try for my boyfriend's mom's Christmas give. I was doing alright and... the crochet hook broke -_-' I guess that's what I get for using wooden ones? I ordered some metallic ones from Amazon but it's frustrating when you're in the ...

Lest We Forget

Remembrance day is a very important day to me. To remember the sacrifices of everyone who ever fought in any of the wars. World War 1 World War 2 Korea Vietnam Iraq Everyone, living and passed. Lest we forget your sacrifice. Every year this ditty from my school years creeps into my head, and I will ...

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules

When I picked my older son up at school today I was told he had one of his grade A meltdowns (think toddler tantrum to the power of 3 in a 7 year old). He's in grade 2. I don't get many details as this meltdown occurred with his drama teacher, not his homeroom teacher. We sit down to dinner with a f...

Whomever I am to send gifts to, you will receive something homemade. Could be an animal plush, could be a blanket, or an amazing viking beard.

My most favorite husband has fixed up a computer for me to use since my other one killed the motherboard. Luckily we had 3 spare towers. But I can't do anything outside of browsing the internet since it only has 2GB of RAM. How many secret husbands do you have? UNCLEAN! I have no secret husbands, a...

My husband thinks my motherboard failed. I'm hoping we can cobble a computer together for me to use, but my tower is not as old as the extra towers we have, so he's thinking there may be a compatibility issue. On top of this my wallet is missing so I can't log in to my cra account to check on my ei ...

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules

My computer appears to have died. My hubby will take a look when he gets home, but I have no idea what is wrong with it. It makes a growly/grumbly noise when I hit the power button and won't turn on. I am very upset by this turn of events. Especially since my husband is terrible at sharing his compu...

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules

The part cause of the pain is how far I have to lean over for work at the till (how tall I am). Those mats would make it more comfortable to stand, but would they just make me even taller? I know when I was pregnant I had really bad back pain from standing too long. The mats helped with my knee pai...

So... The R Word. There's an episode of "Rick and Morty" where they indulge in a diatribe about it. And I hated it. It's out of place, and it feels entirely like someone hurt Justin Roiland's feelings once by asking him if he really wanted to use that word the way he does. So we get an Au...

Silly win: Grapes are on sale for under 1$ per pound in my local grocery store. This hasn't happened in about 2 years. I'm going to be the best mother ever when my older son gets home from school. Also I am the baby's favorite right now.

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules

My older son misplaced the laundry card on Friday. Instead of helping me look for it or clean the house at all, my husband waits until today while he's at work to tell me to look for it. He could've gotten off his computer to look for it yesterday. Or even helped me wash some dishes. Very grumpy at ...
