Oooh, Abney Park! They're brilliant. The whole AEther Shanties album is really great. They just put out a new one too? I haven't heard any of it yet.

Ooh, cool. Count me in for said raffle.

As far as Desert Bus...It seems like not the most fitting thing to auction anyway, cause it's just a commonplace product?

Re: The "Post a picture of yourself" thread

...but what about the soul? :P Well, according to the Shvetashvatara Upanishad, notable Hindu text, the soul is a particle approximately 1.7 x 10^-9 meters, so about the size of a small protein, which is to say, negligible. So we don't really need to take it into account, I don't think. Also, pictu...

I've got a great blue longcoat, it's a bit worn, not a fantastic piece of clothing for assorted reasons, however, it does look quite similar to Captain Jack Harkness' longcoat. Which in itself is enough.

Re: Everday Carry

I've got a housekey in my wallet. Just single key for my house back home. Also, my room key for college here, which is a card rather than a key, so fits more conveniently.

Whenever I'm headed to a class I have my netbook? But that's only sometimes.

Another thing I ALWAYS have on me. So always I forgot I even have it. Let me get that computer camera worki...

Re: Everday Carry

I've always got my wallet and my cell phone. I even have my cell phone on me when I'm asleep . (It's my alarm) Those are the only things I've always got with me actually. I use my cell phone for the time, but I actually need to get a watch now. EMT work (and by extension, the training, which I'm cur...

So I wasn't going to watch it, cause I always end up not watching movies cause in the moment I decide I don't want to devote that block of time, but then I did. Quite fun. I didn't know much about the whole fiasco, so more than anything it taught me a lot about those events while still being very fu...

Woo! Also...live webcast? Wow. I mean, it's the internet, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, but...just...yep.

Also Kate! Which is always good news. I would say, even better news than the fantastic that is good use of top hats. Which is also, in fact, fabulous news.

Re: The Hat Market Game

My liquid is a single quarter.

I guess if the market fails, I can buy a gumball or something.

Alternatively, I can afford to pay for a Suicide Booth.

Dear god the slender man. I'm not fully caught up, only seen a few of the newly begun second part, I'll catch up in full sometime, when I feel like being SCARED SHITLESS.

Also, related, Endermen. Are terrifying.

Generally I don't like "startle" fear things, actual FEAR is more fun.

While it may be illegal it's too small scale for them to care about pursuing. Now, if you ever become a really big name connected to something important and you are trying to push some policy or technology which directly and seriously affects netflix, and they can dig this up, they could potentially...
