Blerg. I do not want to go back to work tomorrow. After a week of vacation at the beach with no internet or phone, its just a pain to get back into the swing of things....
and so ends my useless vent

Ok, I've split off the Torchwood discussion from the main Doctor Who thread. Now, I've just watched the newest episode and... I kinda liked it, but I miss all the old characters. For people who don't want everyone to show up in their chat, if you click on the thing that says chat, it will let you select circles and then you can select which circles you want to have show up in chat.

After the summer I plan on adding a bright red streak behind my ear so that if I leave my hair down you can see it, but if its pulled back, you can't really. I figured I might as well do it while I'm still in school, because once I try to get a real job, thats usually frowned up. What red did you us...

I saw Transformers today and I quite liked it. It pulled me in and I actually cared about the characters. Also, dare I say it, the girl's acting was not as bad as I was expecting...
Also Ken Jeong and Alan Tudyk were awesome.

Wanna know the reason Facebook won't be hurt by this? It's because social media is measured against the yardstick of Facebook. It's the same reason that MP3 players won't budge the iPod and the same reason MMOs won't budge WoW. If you can describe something as "it's like X but Y," then it...

Take regular chem. Do you want to have to memorize ridiculous amounts of side chains (or whatever they're called, I forget)? Most colleges make inorganic chem a prereq for O Chem.

I've resolved to get up, go to class, go home, and go back to bed. :P That's probably ideal grocery shopping time too, so maybe it won't be so bad. At least I like (Fucking) Genetics, rather than (Fucking) Calculus at 8:30 which I couldn't stand. ... Now I wish I could be a Fucking Studies major. ....

Re: Giving Blood
@Fayili, if you are prone to passing out or getting anxious while getting blood drawn, you should tell the nurses. They have a room with a bed in it, so that if you pass out, you will already be lying down. I have a question, because this thread has inspired me. If I wanted to give blood on a random...

I would like to give blood, but it seems like the times I see the blood drive things I'm either super busy and running somewhere, or I haven't eaten in about 4 hours... I keep wanting to because I want to know my blood type too. I'm also totally ok with blood tests and needles.

I use Loseit for calorie and exercise tracking, its free and you can use the website too (they have forums and you can friend people). I'm currently on the second Game of Thrones book. God damn there are a lot of characters in those books. I seriously spent the first half of the book trying to figure out who was who and how they were related to eachother... Otherwise its pretty good and intriguing, although there were a few plot tu...
