Re: Let's NOPE pre-voting

I haven't played it, and I don't know quite how entertaining it would be without at least cursory knowledge of the SCP Foundation universe, but I've heard good things about SCP Containment Breach Of interesting note is that it mashes together a lot of the SCP universe's horrors, the primary antagon...

Re: GPLP next game thread

They could play Banished. Nothing like 3 hours of watching little people roam around a village going about their daily lives, while you yell at your screen to "Go get food from storage if you are starving! You will die soon. There's food in stora....where'd all the food go? Which of you greedy ...

Re: The House of Stark

From some of the articles going around, Ground Zeroes may be over before your stream is.

Re: IDDQDerp

To me, the story in Thief 2014 doesn't fall far from the story of any of the other games. Thief 2014 is more story-heavy than the others, but the element that made up their stories are about the same. You had magical creatures trying to manipulate Garrett in the Dark Project. Tyrant Hammerites with ...

Re: The House of Stark

Hoping you stick with the Dark Souls plan, even if just for a stream or two. I don't think I've seen a Graham tilt. I didn't watch the stream last night, did he say that it was his next game? If so, I'm very much looking forward to it. Not to see Graham frustrated, though. I love the game, and watc...

Really enjoyed getting to see Alan Wake: American Nightmare. Never had time for it, so it was good to get to see the story.

Re: A Swiftly Tilting Cameron

Cam definitely needs to check out Endless Space on Steam for another game like Masters of Orion 2. I had to look to see if there wasn't some link between the developers of the two games, because they nearly play the same way.

Re: IDDQDerp

As much as Alex complains about Thief, I think he's wanting it to be something the Thief series isn't. But I think this is what happens when a niche title game, that Thief: The Dark Project was, evolves into a AAA title.

That's how you put things into your inventory. You reach up off-screen.

Re: IDDQDerp

I do have a question though: regarding the 'challenges' get assessed on at the end of each chapter - does Thief(2014) have any kind of advance notice about them? Because I haven't seen any hints that one level would want " x pockets picked" or another wanted "0 detections", etc....

Re: IDDQDerp

Watching the replay of Alex play Thief is kinda painful. Falls into the standard gaming habit of going "there's a door, enter door" and doesn't look around for other paths. Thief uses plenty of obvious loot, paths, and areas while having a lot of hidden away stuff. So I'm screaming at a re...

A bag of tennis balls, eh? Could that be a hint that another KS pledge special is going to happen soon? I want to see my tennis ball launched at someone!
