Why don't they finish Venetica? I honestly want to see where it goes.

They didn't really give a flavor reason for morph returning in Time Spiral. (Well, you could probably count wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey as an excuse.)

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.
Aww, Memo, you fell for the Ornithropter trap. You really don't have enough stuff that hinges on artifacts for Ornithropter to be playable (2 cards is not enough, even in spite of the dream of Ensouling a Thropter). Meanwhile, Sacred Armory is perfectly playable, and a 5/5 Ensouled Armory is still s...

Want to emphasize this: Wedge SET confirmed, but not wedge BLOCK. Wedge block DECONFIRMED. Interesting, but must tie into the time-travel aspect of the block.
Also, I like how the draft format is going to shape up...

Re: The Limited thread
So, I thought I'd try my hand at a Competitive MtGO pre-release prior to the LRR Fan Prerelease. This was my pool and what I ended up building: http://i.imgur.com/Z275Voh.png I went 3-1, losing to a pretty nutty W/B deck in round 3. I think I could've gotten to game 3 of that match had I not attacke...

Re: Khans of Tarkir Speculation
Wait, how does Yawgmoth even show up in Theros MowDownJoe? The only connection to the phyrexians, and therefore yawgmoth, in Theros is Elspeth, who was just born in a plane that was destroyed by the them. The Theros gods only exist there because people believe in them. If the Phyrexians were to inf...

Re: Khans of Tarkir Speculation
There is speculation that the Eldrazi are too alien in nature to be compleated by the oil, although that may just apply to the titans, and not the brood lineages. Perhaps they can enslave a titan, or something like that, and hitchhike on it through the blind eternities? After all, the phyrexians ne...

Hmm... I would've run the Advocate over the Smelt. It's at least a reasonable dude, even without the bonus value from having beasts.

A world where dragons are revered but gone - who wants to bet against dragons coming back in the spring set? And since Sarkhan is in, and dragons are important: New Nicol Bolas? More likely, the revival of Ugin. Sarkhan has been hearing Ugin's voice in his head, and his art from the " Where ar...

You missed something special. Graham joined us! Anyway, I couldn't get my streaming gear to work, so I shrugged. Got passed multiple U/G bombs and opened a Kiora, but the deck's curve was a mess. Ended up 2-1, losing in R2 because I punted game 1 and forgot to crack my Font on T2 (my opponent was pl...

So far, it seems like people undervalue red (little early to tell, though). You can get some great aggressive decks going in Red. My LGS ran a draft and, after opening a P1P1 Chandra and taking it, got passed a lot of amazing red like a couple of Borderland Marauders, a couple of Krenko's Enforcers,...

That was because Lifeless Planet crapped its pants with weird physics puzzles and bad checkpoints. If the game was consistent in quality, I doubt he'd tilt as much. Like, he could probably do a full run of Guacamelee (not a 100% run, just start to final boss) just fine. The bonus stuff needed for 10...

Seems strong. Might also want to throw in some persist dudes as well, since the +1/+1 counters from Dethrone wipe away the -1/-1 counters from persist.

My LGS decided to give us all a lunch break. Right now, my R/U deck is 2-0. My red seeded pack was pretty strong, albeit lacking in a good rare. (I mean, Kurkesh is fine, but it's pretty much only a Borderland Minotaur.) But I'm doing fine with a deck that's just raw aggression and Military Tactics....

- Since everyone is receiving a free Hunt entry item, we may not get to choose colours. I believe that we were getting one of each Hunt item. Pretty cool, since I'd be tempting to just always go red elsewise. Also, strawpoll for friendly vs. competitive . Thought I'd have it ready a few weeks in ad...

Uhh... wow. Maybe scale it down a bit on imgur? A 4K image on a 720p monitor tends to not fit. Seriously, I had to use a Firefox add-on to scale it down to 25%.
But real nice work, otherwise.

Huh... interesting. According to that How Long To Beat site, a completionist run of Guacamelee averages 14 hours. I would not be opposed to seeing that as a 12-hour stream, with some corners cut. That said, there is one area when going for the completionist run that might cause some tilting . (Well,...

Regarding Soul of Ravnica: This REALLY feels like an indication that Khans is going to be an Alara style triple colour set with opposing colours. 7 for three isn't great value but it'd be a lot easier to at least get that value if you've got triple coloured creatures hanging out all over the place....

First Duels that I'm not buying. It's very sad for me, as they were always fun distractions and I liked the promos. Oh, well. If I don't get a free Soul, I won't be too distraught.

Well, I remember you saying you were interested in Smite. I'd gladly watch you try to git gud at a MoBA, and Smite's my preference there. Plus, you could play games with fans! I'm planning on building him solely because of my EDH meta at my uni being so combo-focused. I'm hoping he'll be a wrecking ball there, and then we can get back to actual fun Magic instead of a bunch of single-player games.
