@0:55 Dammit Kathleen, that was the perfect opportunity to put up a silly picture! You dropped the ball! Paul would've put up a picture of something funny. Actually, Sunlance is a timeshifted Strafe . One can be forgiven for forgetting that that garbage exists. And yes, Strafe was an uncommon. Red players are permitted to weep now. Well, that viashino is a slaughter master. You don't call yourself that if you're known for being a nice guy. Scatter to t...

I think the takeaway from this argument is that any nickname that is a riff on a specific number shouldn't be used, as it only makes people argue about whether it makes sense. Therefore any nickname should avoid referencing any specific number. I propose "laglands".

In order to quash any doubts about zero being an even number, I present the following Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parity_of_zero So that counts with even costed spells currenly on stack? Because I'd steal this for a Riku game breaker deck. No. Void Winnower stops them from being...

Darn it Graham, you got it wrong. The nickname for Angel's Tomb is, and always has been, Weeping Angel. That or "Don't Blink". Nissa's Revelation takes place before the Eldrazi were released, Cam. That's what the revelation is; that there are giant monsters trapped in Akoum, making the ent...

I'm pretty sure that FridayNights-verse Paul needs to find himself some new friends.
Also, real-life Jer might be able to trust his house with the real-life LRR crew, but FridayNights-verse Jer took a massive risk there by just handing over his keys.

The new rules enforcement policy is really more like Perish the Thought than Thoughtsieze. I wanna see a return of creature-type-cycling . Most one-sided game I've played? I dunno, the impression I always got from WotC was that since players enjoyed dual faced cards once they got a chance to actually play with them, the plan was to revisit DFCs the next time they were appropriate.

Dominia is not Dominaria; Dominia is what they used to call the multiverse. (Why yes, it is rather confusing to have two different things with nearly identical names.) Dominia Prime is, I guess, another name for Dominaria. No, Cam, Invasion was the beginning of the Phyrexian invasion. Planeshift was...

FYI, the Rathi overlay was the second phase of Yawgmoth's 3-step plan to conquer Dominaria, and is the event that gives the set Planeshift its name. He basically Ctrl-X/Ctrl-V'ed the entire plane of Rath onto Dominaria. And since he had stationed millions of Phyrexian troops in Rath, the overlay mea...

Cam needs to familiarize himself with the rules for divided-damage spells. Each target must be assigned at least 1 damage. So you can only blow up a max of 4 illusions with Pyrotechnics . In the olden days, reanimate spells half the time went to white. (e.g. Alpha's Resurrection ) Eventually, WotC w...
