There once was a boy who ate cake,
In a tree - near a bee - by the lake.
In all sorts of places,
His cakecrumbs were traces
Of a feeling he couldn't quite shake.

Re: Not Magic: the Gathering: You mean there are other TCGs?
The only other TCG I've played is Force of Will. In structure it is very similar to magic, but with a few interesting twists. It's still in it's infancy and struggling with balance, and at times the art can be rather over-sexualised anime, but otherwise it is an interesting game - worth a gander.

Re: Science Questions
I have a question, something that had begun to be explained in a book I had begun reading - but for whatever reason I never finished the book, and I can't remember what the book was. Lately its been bugging me that I can't even begin to remember how the explanation began. Anyway: If the ability of a...

Re: Commander/EDH Deck Talk
Apologies if this has been discussed before, but does anyone have any experience in deliberately running not very powerful commanders? The idea of appearing to be less of a threat in multiplayer politics has been working out quite well for me lately. A specific example: I switched from Ghost Council...

Which is why you play Gamble in an Arrogant/Reckless Wurm madness deck, alongside Fauna Shaman.

Re: Mono red challenge
I occasionally play a kitchen table casual Phoenix deck which may be appropriate here, although adhering to your second qualifier is perhaps a stretch. It starts by keeping the board clear with (exclusively fire-themed) burn spells, pumping Kiln Fiend and Shrine of Burning Rage. Momentum is kept wit...
