Re: Qwerpline Ep04 - Harvest Festival
I didn't get the joke about the abandoned stall of "perfume bottles". But maybe I'm trying to read too much into it. The stall belongs to the perfume seller, Ball Hinkley, from episode 00. The reason no one is there currently is because Beej voices both Ball and Derek - so he couldn't int...

Re: Beej's Backlog
So I'm currently playing Rune Factory 4 ... I think a friend of mine was playing it once and she seemed to like it quite a bit. IIRC, she sold it as "Harvest Moon but also dungeon crawl". Which, after playing Harvest Moon, made me suspect I didn't want to play it. I'm now keen to give the...

Other things I would recommend (and Heather helped): - Grave of the Fireflies http://www.adtrwiki.com/index.php?title ... _Fireflies - Master Keaton http://myanimelist.net/anime/1483/Master_Keaton - Voice of a Distant Star (Hoshi no Koe) (it's 25 minutes long, so watch it anyway) http://myanimelist....

Re: Arclight_Dynamo's Anime Frustration
Arclight, I recommend you go looking for Legend of Galactic Heroes. It's about two spacefaring empires fighting a never-ending "naval" war in space. It's got a thousand characters and is jam-packed with politics. Ian recommends this to nearly everyone he meets. And *everyone* in Something ...

Re: LRRcast - Summer Anime Recap
I just now - JUST NOW - realized that this episode should've been titled "2015 Spring Anime Recap (Summer Preview)". Since I gave James the title, I have no one to blame but myself.
For the next one we do, I'll make sure we get it right. Or come up with a better naming convention.

Re: LRRcast - Summer Anime Recap
Earlier this year I've watched an old show because of it's relation to a great board game "Tragedy Looper". The show was Higurashi (When they cry) and I was wondering if any of you ever watched it. I've not watched Higurashi and I probably won't go near it. Something about the violence *I...

Re: Loading Time Digest - May 2015
Interesting behind the scenes look, with lots of content in this monthly digest form. I don't know if the LRR crew comes back here to read the comments, but if they do, I have a recommendation for the folks who work on CP+ and other standardized features: try setting up some simple macros for repet...

Just casually noting that I would buy the Beej shirt in a heartbeat. Yeah, me too. As soon as I saw the shirt, I paused the video and went looking for it in the LRR shop. I was disappointed when I didn't find one :( Made my account just to chime in, really awesome shirt and would love to see it ava...

I think the link you meant to post was: http://store.loadingreadyrun.com/collections/shirts/products/phases-shirt  As for the Beej Phases shirt, I made that as a one-off without telling anyone. I had the idea a while ago and I'd been fine-tuning it for weeks. The cH was an excellent chance ...

AFAIK, the Desert Bus driver's chair is still around, with no plans to get rid of it. It just doesn't physically fit in the new Feed Dump/podcast set.
The new set is also partially finished. You guys got a preview of what's to come. There are more changes coming.

I did manage to buy a physical steelbook copy from someone in the chat. Thanks for the heads-up, though.

Ian and I have known each other since University - about 1998. Even prior to our first improv troupe. Also, Kathleen *regularly* throws gags to her FD panel to use if we're stuck. It's very collaborative. Ian and I tend to be each other's catalysts when writing comedy too. I admit to stealing a line...

Re: Beej's Backlog
Hey, Beej, if you do end up playing one of the Virtual Villager games, can we ask that you play it in your CaveBeej costume? That would add *tremendously* to the experience! :) I'm certain I could do that. But keep in mind, my backlog is BIG. It could take me a long time to get to VV, since I'm rea...

Re: NEW VIDEO - Social Anxiety Fear Factor
I too did alt-tab somewhere else right Paul hit its limit, even having read the video's title. (Also, just a head's up, Beej isn't in the credits.) Beej was overly anxious at the thought of being listed in the credits, so he's an uncredited cameo. Beej was so anxious that he even showed up before a...

Re: Social Anxiety Fear Factor
As weird as this might sound, when Beej came on, all I could think of was his nipple showing through his shirt. That was the weirdest part of the video for me. I managed to get through the first part because... well, it basically had the 'this is so bad for him that they must be evil and planned it...

Currently chopped into four chubs. Three in the freezer, and one got sliced up thin, fried, and put on pizza. It was literally Pizza Salami.
I plan on redistributing the chubs to each according to his/her needs.

Re: Beej's Backlog
Beej, have you tried the Virtual Villager games by Last Day at Work? They involve seven villagers washed up on an unknown island, and they must survive from there, making fire, finding a source of clean water and etc. You might enjoy them. I know I did. There are six games in that franchise, with m...
