Re: Thread of positive things in the world.
- Good Thing #1: Marriage Equality in the states. Not much to say here, but its a significant expansion of civil rights for some, and still a cause for celebration. People shouldn't have to move where they live to get full rights of being with the one they love. - Good Thing #2: Polio is very close ...

Thread of positive things in the world.
There's so much negativity about and stress. The US election, Brexit, various horrible things around the world seem to constantly dominate news cycles and social media feeds. However, its not all gloom, I am going to thus post a series of things this year I personally found positive developments. Fe...

If Clinton or Trump gets convicted then it goes to their running mates.
Its still no contest.
Just look up Mike Pence's Policys. His Civil Rights positions alone should put anyone off.

Re: Nintendo Switch
It would be quite surprising if you cant plug it in while using it like the WiiU can.
They just dont like showing wires in promotional videos - you cant see wires on the docking unit either, but obviously that needs both power and HDMI.

Re: Nintendo Switch
The presence of a touchscreen doesnt necessitate its use. But even then; Surely you find it easy to use a onscreen keyboard to enter names, logins and other interface stuff then using a dpad or stick to navigate around letters? Likewise simple uses, like in XenobladeX tapping a square on the map to b...

Re: Nintendo Switch
Looks pretty good to me. I dont care for processing power at this point, everythings been "good enough" for me for awhile. (I mean, I like games to run smooth with stable framerate - I'm just not one to carefor new levels of seeing accurate stubble on burly man protagonist #26). It is hard...

Dont watch anything live myself, but I certainly feel like a get a lot of content I enjoy. Qwerpline being my favorite right now by a big margin, but Loading Ready Live, CheckPoint, Feeddump, CH and Friday Nights all entertain no end. (fyi, I love FN - I dont play magic at all) I also enjoy the vari...

+1 review
And also second Source Code, which I also found excellent. (but then I am a sucker for the idea of layers of worlds within worlds)
oh, and on this premise, lets not forget Run Lola Run here!

I have a tech blog, mostly focusing on AR and other near-future tech.
I just did a very short little ramble on the significance of Pokemon Go;

Good enough for me. Art on Art?
Anyway; Pretty much agree. Wonderful film that really people should try to see in cinemas. Its just beautiful on a few levels. Also, weirdly for me it felt like a Zelda film in places, but for all the right reasons. [/slightly offtopic I guess]

Second - and the problem with attitude goes way beyond this topic too. (normally the "tough it out" crowd dont overlap much, or at all, with the 'having the problem' crowd - regardless of issue) What you're talking about is, I believe, academically referred to as "virtue signalling&qu...

Only options, but I would add a important innocent subset of a) That is people that feel should _should_ be upset, and its wrong not to be. Sort of meta-upset. I think its pretty common in society.(I am positive vastly more people claim nudity is offense then actually could give a reason why). Somet...

I had a official tng technical manual once that showed the relationship between warp and "how many times C" went up on a curve.
Dunno if thats still considered "accurate"

Pretty much my view. Also Voyager could be great when it wanted to be. Be it exciting (Scorpion pt1/2) or just great fun (Message In A Bottle).
Its no Ds9/B5/Farscape, but it was still watchable.
Anywho, fingers crossed Discovery is good.

Never watched wrestling in my life.
First time I saw the guy.
But by god, he is entertaining.
Worth trying to watch the interview for those that haven't seen it.

Well, its the kids-begging-parents factor, which unfortunately is pretty much what keeps various animated shows on the air.

So, my Twitter rules would start with the highest crime at the top. If you make a Tweet that is a dox, as defined above, you get your account shut down. To determine what is a dox and what isn't, the "report" function could have a setting that says, "This is a dox!" and once som...

Re: Ghostbusters 2016
I think the only time a scene for scene remake is ever acceptable is if your making a Swede. :p On a slightly more serious thought though, not sure I ever find "openings to develop a sequal" defacto a good thing. Some of the best film series have been completely standalone films (all the T...
