Re: Kerbal Space Program
Yeah, reserve fuel is usually a bad idea anyway as it means additional weight. That said, it makes my strategy all the more risky that I went to the game's persistency file and disabled quick saves, quick loads, flight reverts and crew respawning. You very quickly leanr to make a safe and effective ...

Re: Kerbal Space Program
An entry-level Mun landing doesn't require any docking, you can land and return to kerbin with a single command/lander module stage. I've only ever played career mode, and you very quickly work out how to do things the most efficient way, so many designs I see from sandbax carry extra weight for the...

Re: Kerbal Space Program
I'll grab a screenshot of each of the components of my return Duna mission. The only advantage to having a separate lander and CM is if you are going to ditch the lander in Duna orbit. Otherwise, make the Lander the CM, and have it re-dock with the service module that carries the transfer engines. T...

Concerning distance and traveling by rails. I recently discovered that if i travel to the nether. it puts me within 10 steps of the spawn city gate. So i get to spawn city in 10 seconds instead of 4 rail changes. Still working on a better way of returning home other then dieing. But traveling in th...

I think you're pretty familiar with where my build is, so I'll not insult you by telling you where to find it. Presumably, you want me to carry on building the barn? I did a bit more today, just as an when I need a break from writing survey proposals.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Supply always far exceeds demand, though I suspect people would be willing to pay to not have to gather excessive quantities of it for themselves. Same's probably true of most basic materials, logs especially.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
I'd say yes. I felt like a late adopter when I bought it in Beta and there'd been about 3 MC stories on Checkpoint already.
You get the bonus that the game has a lot more content now than if you'd bought it a few years ago, and it hasn't stopped being fun for me since I got it in 2010 or so.
