Re: The 500th Video
Except Kathleen; I'm convinced there's a painting somewhere aging in her stead. I think that they have all aged incredibly well. Personally, I think that everyone looks better now than they did when they first started filming. Obviously they have all made some kind of satanic bargain to age gracefu...

Re: The 500th Video
I believe that I speak for 78% of the LRR forums when I say "We demand more statistics based LRR videos!". It's not just Canadians who love statistics, a little poking on the internet clearly shows that math is the greatest love that the internet has. That and previously obscure ASCII char...

Wow, that was the most concentrated dose of Spring related profanity, per word spoken, that I think I've ever heard! Hats off for the accomplishment! Actually, I guess you guys are more about putting hats on than having them doffed, but whatever.

Re: Downloadable Consumerism
Just so you know, on the front page it has the date for today's Checkpoint as being "April 15, 2013". I guess this really is "coming up next week"!
Awesome episode though, I can't wait to advertise in Sim City, that's going to be great.

Re: GPLP: Cursed Crusade
I'm pretty sure trying to set the game disk on fire would be pretty unsatisfying... a few bursts of fire and it'll just collapse into a couple of pieces and fall through the floor. And even then, you'll have to examine it first, and that just seems like a cost too high to bear. That's not what woul...

Re: 64 - The Resistor
OK, I don't understand the bit where Kathleen is editing herself in to basically tell Matt "You thought I would cut this bit out because it's insulting to French (Canadians?) people, but no, now prepare for the hate!" but I don't quite understand why Matt would be worried about that. I was...

Man, I wasn't even aware that companies would do that. Now, the real question is, how much more do you have to pay for everything?

Re: Death by Degrees
This is one of the most bizarre and random opening cutscenes I think that I have ever seen. I realize that when you buy the game it probably tells you what kind of game it is on Steam or on the box, but you would think you would have at least SOME idea of the plot and type of game it is from a cutsc...

Re: 62 - Snickers & The Sea Hag
Well at least you can't say the Snickers smuggler wasn't committed to the task, must have taken a lot of hard to work to prepare the meth bars for smuggling. Also, Alex's ant line is going up there with the dulcet moose noises as best Feed Dump lines. That's what I was thinking. How easy is it to m...

Re: Fear Itself
I think I'm going to have nightmares now where a giant creepydoll looking clown opens its mouth and out pour flaming clown spiders and I have to try to flee across heights while saving my baby or something.

Re: GPLP: Cursed Crusade
Do you think it's possible we're being too picky? I'm fairly confident if we're looking for accuracy a game about a demonic curse while fighting a fictitious version of the Crusades probably isn't that concerned about the language choices of the characters. Also, they aren't that good at naming char...

Re: Pocket Planes
After trying to explain to my wife why this thread is hilarious and the origins of "Ron Dewing" I will admit that all I've really managed to accomplish is that she now thinks I'm an even bigger dork and that I'm dewing my puns all wrong and that I should take care not to foul out completely.

RE: Santa Secrets-- The bit where Morgan is in the store, yes green screen. The bit where he's just against a wall, no he's there. Wow, I had no idea. Even after you said that, it's hard to tell that it's not a location shot. Then they did a good job. If you can't tell it's spliced in, some editor ...

That was hilarious. That conversation sounded exactly like the ones I have in my head on situations like that. Yes Sir, your flight from Vancouver to Paris will be stopping in San Francisco, Phoenix, New Orleans, Philadelphia and then you'll have a stop over in New York for...Well, looks like our ma...

Re: Pocket Planes?! POCKET PLANES!!! UNOFFICIAL SKY CHAIRS H
I think making the map wrap around is significantly more of a programming and structural challenge than you might think it is. This is also the only way that New York to Tokyo will be worth as much as it is, so I'm perfectly OK with it this way, otherwise your money on long routes is cut in half.

Re: Pocket Planes?! POCKET PLANES!!! UNOFFICIAL SKY CHAIRS H
I got the Starship, used it on two flights, realized it was going to bankrupt me in a matter of hours and put it in my hanger until such time as I can find a use for it. I was more excited about it before I found out how useless it was. Still, maybe I can figure out some use later, until then, it's ...

Re: S2E10 - Assassin's Editions
Is this a record for total number of versions of a game at release?
Man, that was hilarious, well done on keeping a straight face while running all those off, I think it would have taken me a days worth of takes for that.
