Re: Seventh Annual Secret Santa: Sign-Ups Started
Hey, so sorry to do this, but I'm going to have to drop out. My December's looking busier and busier and I don't think I'll have the chance to do anything more than buy something off Amazon and have it sent right to my Santee, and that's not much fun for them. Looking forward to seeing what you all ...

Really cool seeing those old ones (I started with DB3, but don't remember them all looking so young ). Thanks for putting this together!

Music definitely fits too, there's been all kinds of art in this thread over the years. I think visual art is just easy to share and something a lot of people here do.

Yeah, I really don't think this is the place to have this argument. Coping strategies and taking care of mental health is important, and I don't think anyone is in denial or damaging their development by taking a break from reality. Because sure, sometimes situations arise that you can't take a brea...

Re: Politics and the Vague Fear of Something Called Donald T
Not an outright crime, but my girlfriend got screamed at this morning while waiting in line for coffee. Some guy yelled "fuck Hillary, go Trump!" at her without any prompting, when she had nothing to show outward support of either candidate, besides being a woman I guess. And this is just ...

Re: Shameless Self-Promotion Thread!
Not self -promotion per se, but something I'd really appreciate help with! My girlfriend works for a nonprofit organization called Tacoma Community House which helps refugees, immigrants, and low-income people, and they're in the running for a $25,000 grant. It's one of those contests where people c...

Re: The Confession Topic: Get It Off Your Chest!
Wow, I'm really shocked. Obviously I've seen your posts throughout the whole relationship, and it's hard reconciling that with the guy I've watched on Desert Bus in the past couple years. That's got to be incredibly tough for you, and I hope you can enjoy some of Desert Bus still, but I'd totally un...

Re: Ix's Essays
A little while back, I stumbled across the term 'demisexual'. It's a label used by people who only feel sexual attraction for somebody they have an existing emotional connection with- they don't look across the room and want to make out with the cute girl in the corner, but might after they've got ...

I'm not a computer expert so I can't offer advice about the problem, but if it's not the hard drive that failed, you should at the very least be able to get your pictures and other files off of that.
Still stinks though, sorry. =/

Re: LRR is starting to lose me
I've been watching less LRR over the past year, but I think it has more to do with me than them. I enjoyed the streams when they first started being a regular thing, but now I just have no time for them, and I'm not someone who can multitask and have something like that on in the background. I still...

Glad to hear it isn't whatever bad thing it could have been, but I guess it has to be unnerving not knowing. Hopefully your doctors can figure out what it actually is better with one thing ruled out!

Yeah, I guess it does have kind of a Zelda feeling. It's that very child-like (but not in a bad way) adventure story quality. Plus a collection quest with giant boss monsters probably helped.

That was a really interesting read, and I'm sure at least one of the LRR crew will see it and tell the others to come read it.
Best of luck to you in the coming weeks, and I hope we see you become a regular poster here afterwards!
