Re: DB4H Crafter could use some help from Nintendo fans

I have no Nintendo games to suggest, but as a fellow cross-stitcher (and hopeful DB4H6 Craft-Along participant), I understand and appreciate your desire to stick to 8-bit images. They translate to cross-stitch so well, don't they? (Having never participated in a Craft-Along, will anyone mind if ther...

Re: The Hat Thread

This is currently my favorite hat.

I call it my Miss Kitka hat, after Catwoman's Russian disguise in the 1966 Batman movie. Perfect for those cold days walking to and from work at the Moscow Bugle.

Well, that's it. I can't compete with an epic hat like that.

Re: Do you guys want more hats?

You have inspired me to dig through my closet and pull out my silliest hats. I probably could part with a few of them, too, as long as Graham is in a mood of "no, we will not turn away a dorky hat!"

Re: In Death as in Life

Great script, Tim. Also, great job to James, Paul and Kathleen. When Paul started talking about phase changes, I thought it'd be really conceptual, but then I started cracking up, especially when it came to Kathleen's hair and attitude. I loved the stinger, too. Paul really sold the annoying-ghost-o...

Re: Britishness Quotient Test.

The one time I had HP sauce I found it kind of bland, but that's because I grew up with its brash, bold American cousin A1 sauce - stuff that makes my eyes water a bit if I put too much on my steak. However, my sister loves it. Just a glance at the list shows I'm evidently not very British at all (n...

So, what's 2012 like? It is fabulous, or kind of a bust?

Re: Ways to Ring in the New Year

You forgot "finagle an (pity) invitation/invite yourself to a party at which you only sort-of know a handful of people just so you're not stuck at home with your parents," which is how I tend to spend New Year's Eve.

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)

Hello, all! I'm Robyn, aka KyrieEleison, KE for short is fine. I had never heard of LRR until a couple of people I follow on Twitter mentioned Desert Bus this year, and I decided to give it a shot. I became quickly addicted and after the insanity was over, I began working through the backlog of vide...
