Re: Describe your last tabletop session
So I've been GM'ing a Dark Heresy campaign for the last few months. The last session has been dubbed "The night of wrong moves". First the party cornered an assassin who had, at least in the parties view, poisoned their Inquisitors son. She responded by pulling out an enhanced krak grenade...

Re: Star Trek Mafia - Day 2 Alpha Shift
So I take it this means I get arrested right? Well shows you how long the human last on the show. Killed off the second night to prove the dangers real and the cast learn some form of Aesop that they'll forget in the next episode

I would ask for a stay of arrest under Article 14, Section 31 of the Star fleet charter.

Evidently, either the we don't have an investigator, or he doesn't want to reveal himself and draw a target on him. As for me, I've got less than nothing, I wish I had more, if only to save my own sorry butt

Re: Star Trek Mafia - Day 2 Alpha Shift
So not only do we have changelings. We apparently have Romulan spies on top of all this. This place just gets better and better. What next? The Borg? Please dear god not the Borg. As for Imafish, unless someone has solid evidence that's he's faked his death, or someone figures out what we can do if ...

Re: Star Trek Mafia - Day 1 Alpha Shift
See, the civilian dies first. While it holds absolutely no sway, I am just going to say, I'm innocent, I seem to have drawn the short straw of being a bog standard human here. I don't even have the honor of calling myself Redshirt, I'm just extra number 5

Re: Star Trek Mafia - Day 1 Alpha Shift
How can you be both a civilian and a Redshirt? If you're wearing the yellow uniform, you're either a Starfleet officer, or impersonating one (which is a serious crime). Explain yourself! (For those who do not watch Trek: The term "redshirt" for the disposable extra who dies at the end of ...

Re: Star Trek Mafia - Day 1 Alpha Shift
Ah crap, I'm a human civilian, also known as Redshirt Number 5, Cannon Fodder Extra Number 12, That Poor Fool and listed in the registry as "Expendable Casualties." So if anyone needs me I'll be cowering under my bed awaiting assassination/warp core breech/meteor strike/the Freaking Jem'Ha...

Re: Star Trek Mafia SIGN-UP!
For the record, I only kill you if its funny, or if I legitimately think you're a threat. The last few games I have honestly given you the benefit of the doubt. So Korvys doesn't need to race me much.

So if all threats have been eliminated, what if we are dealing with a lone survivor here. Someone who has to outlast all of us, but has no inherent night kill ability.

I accept your reasoning Korvys. I mean there is no good reason to lynch someone. Yet at the same time, I can't help but feel that is the completely wrong decision.

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two
This is going to be one of those games where I spent most of my time cry in the corner because I simply cannot follow the logic, or the logic is so far above my head I start to see the Matrix when I try. Assuming that Tapir's group is town aligned, why the hell would they want to kill Jack. Assuming...

Re: Describe your last tabletop session
So I'm DM'ing a very silly and stupid game. The party is a Pixie, a unicorn, a weretiger, and a human cleric of Death. After running through a tournament arc they were given choice of a few different quests. Some were fetch quests, get a super powerful artifact/scroll, some were solve a problem a pa...

I'm still not entirely convinced that either is evil. But if it has to be a choice between the two, I'm more paranoid about Duckay than Thrash

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two
If anything my FOS is Jack, simply because I don't get any evil vibes from Thrash or Duckay, and this FOS round seems la good way to choose between two people while conveniently leaving him out of the firing line. Granted this is mostly paranoia talking.

Re: Challenge: How would you run a Disney RPG?
You could run a decent Pirates of the Caribbean campaign in Dark Heresy, just replace planets with islands, remove psykers and tech priests for sorcerer and blacksmith. And limit the weapons to primitive
