Re: This thread is so gay
I've always been curious: why is there no male analogue to "lesbian"? (At least in English. I'm not well-versed enough in other languages to know if this is just another English quirk.) You can have a gay woman and a gay man, and they'd be a lesbian and... a gay man... Seems lopsided to m...

Aaah. I've never done that. I only painted eggs once but as I remember, we painted the eggs directly. Why don't you want the dye to go through? Were you painting shells that were still full? We emptied ours first. http://www.marthastewart.com/sites/files/marthastewart.com/images/content/pub/ms_livi...

I guess. I just don't really like unloading my issues on to other people that much, and yes I appreciate the irony given what I'm doing right now. I also know what it's like to be going through insomnia / sleep deprivation (which is what I think he was going through) so I didn't wanna unload on him...

Re: This thread is so gay
This is true. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm not comfortable with it. Like I said I'm honestly not fussed. I guess I'm just not used to this? Most of the time I get about as much attention as a white crayon XD I guess I just don't know what to do with this now, y'know? I mean I only really h...

Aye, she is but a pup. Where as I am like 27 so I'm old as shit XD Honestly I'm really not fussed. It's not that big a deal to me but it was like "Oh...hey...you...how did you...?". Heh. Possibly. It isn't that I don't want to talk about myself but I guess I'm kind a conditioned to not to...

Re: Judges have a sense of humor, who knew?
Justice Ginsburg (notorious RBG) has a rather acerbic wit. Her judgements are always well written, and usually filled with a lot of jabs at her opponents. It's great.

Now, see, I'm not complaining in the slightest but like I say - he barely uses facebook XD So it's like "Well, ok, I've now confirmed that you read my twitter feed because of something your sister said. YOUR MOVE!". It's funny you mention tumblr as well actually. He has previously referen...

Re: This thread is so gay
So apparently he's been looking over my twitter feed, I guess? I wouldn't be surprised at all if that were the case. I expect he fancies you quite a bit. I know when I first messaged my now boyfriend on OKCupid, he was out of the country on a trip (I found this out because I figured out his twitter...

Re: Teach Me(et all) Your Religion!
I have heard ideas along that line before. But is there any (currently active) established faiths that believe in non-good Gods? Or has civilization been filtering them all out? This question is unclear. "Good" is a subjective word. Also, deity. In short, though: yes, there are. Hinduism,...

Re: Teach Me(et all) Your Religion!
I don't think you can pick semantics over word choice in a book that has been translated countless times, and dealt with thousands of years of linguistic evolution. I think the best you can pick out of the bible is broad meaning, because arguments like the one above aren't about the book itself, th...

That discussion (not that I want to reopen it, either) made me think: If "feminism" is a thing, does that mean that "masculism" is also a thing? If, theoretically, a society existed that historically and currently had been shaped such that female members carried disproportionate...

Hate to break this to you guys, but "Rantic Media" is not a real thing. It is a made up thing. Business insider reported on this: http://www.businessinsider.com/emma-watson-naked-photo-countdown-hoax-2014-9 Basically, Rantic Marketing is a fake company run by a gang of internet spammers wh...
