Re: Agents of SHIELD: Whadidyathink?
I've watched the first 3 episodes back-to-back and I like the show, but for now it doesn't feel as Whedon-y as I'd hoped. I think that may change as the characters find their places and the dynamics of show are better developed.

I don't get the point of this spam message. Aren't spambots used for directing people to other websites or products?

Re: Armikrog.
Kicked! Personally, I was a huge fan of Neverhood and Skullmonkeys, but even more importantly the soundtracks to those games by Terry Scott Taylor are some of my favorite soundtracks of all time. They are so close to their goal now, it would be a shame if the project doesn't go forward. Some of the...

Re: Armikrog.
They've seemed to have gotten about $150,000 since I posted this. So maybe there will be a push big enough push for the last $100,000 to come in by Thursday.

Armikrog.
I don't know if anyone has heard of this on Kickstarter or Steam Greenlight. It's a Stop-motion Adventure Game made by the same people who did The Neverhood in the same style and design. It's not a sequel to it, but it's essentially a spiritual successor. The main character actually has a voice this...

Re: Xbox One complete 360
My problem is that I don't think PlayStation fanboys and internet memes are the target audience that needs to be listened to. Obviously that's not where all the feedback comes from, but I know many people who didn't care at all about the restrictions and those kind of people, myself included, don't ...

Re: Xbox One complete 360
I'm mean more like people telling other people not to buy something just because you don't like it. Not buying it is fine. Boycotting by not buying something and bringing awareness to some kind of social and political injustice is fine. But for a video game system? This isn't the Montgomery Bus Boyc...

Re: Xbox One complete 360
Also, I want to say that the Xbox One not being able to be used in Children's hospitals and by the military is, and god forbid I say this, a retarded defense. It's a product. You don't have to have the Xbox One. It's not a basic necessity and you aren't entitled to one because we sympathize with you...

Re: Xbox One complete 360
SimCity though actually sold 1.6 million copis by May. DRM didn't ruin the game. The "fans" complained, loudly, but it had no real effect. Diablo 3 - To answer your question(as someone who works in game development(albeit in QA)) devs hate multiple skus. It's expensive and not normally wor...

Re: Xbox One complete 360
In what other genre of consumer device could this have happened in?(Genuine Question) I don't think the "modern consumer" is the person yelling "Sony loves consumers and Microsoft is greedy, wah wah wah" all over the fucking place. And I'm not saying that defense against used gam...

Re: Xbox One complete 360
I know a disc is a physical thing, but you aren't buying just a disc. You are buying a game, which comes on a disc that you can't do anything with on it's own. The disc is how it's delivered to your console/computer. This doctrine was made in 1908. It was only about books. In 1976 they added phonore...

Re: Xbox One complete 360
There appears to be a lot of exceptions and limitations in that and if companies flatly define the language in their eula agreements regarding ownership, then what's the problem. This doctrine was also written before digital was even a concept. If rights and laws were really being broken then Micros...

Re: Xbox One complete 360
I just wish the console had something going for it that was actually going to be new. Cloud is nice, but the digital sharing and digital library stuff would have really been something. I wish it could be an option still, but it requires checks to make sure our stupid selfish consumers don't cheat it...
