Re: Friday Nights - Here Be Dragons
I totally forgot that time travel was a real thing in the Friday Nights universe until that happened. It was an amazing twist.

Paul is a mad scientist, neither of which seem to apply to FN LRR.
I think that this would disagree with you.

I'm all in favor of not judging the show by the first season.
I mean, where would you be if people judged LoadingReadyRun by its first season?

Re: Books you're reading now
I'm reading Daemon by Daniel Suarez and loving it.
It has the most realistic hacking of any book I've read (except some technical manuals), and I'm always a sucker for a chessmaster that knows everything and leaves the reader to figure out its plans.

I was hoping that after she killed the narrator, Graham and Paul would decide that there's no farther reason to be here, and leave the rest of the cutscene to run.
Just because of the confusion that would create.

That was brilliant! I may just like making fun of movie hacking, but I laughed the whole time.
Also, that guy on the computer is clearly just playing Uplink in one of those windows.

Re: On GamerGate
I don't identify myself with GamerGate (I went out of my way to avoid saying I do) for that very reason. But a lot of people seem to think that if you support GamerGate, you are automatically wrong (I seem to recall Cam saying something like "If you are a GamerGate person, leave. I am showing y...

I think you're making the mistake of assuming that only pro-gg people are doing bad things. If everybody on the pro-gg side has to answer for the things you mentioned, everybody on the anti-gg side has to answer for: Sending Milo Yiannopoulos a mystery syringe in the mail. Harassing a ton of people ...

On GamerGate
Since this clearly isn't a discussion that can be had in Twitch chat, I'm making this thread to discuss the GamerGate controversy. I am of the unpopular opinion, so let me explain my thoughts: I think the pro-GamerGate people are not entirely in the wrong. Most of them are reacting to a change in th...

I feel like Third Wheel Dating missed a buisness model here.
Also, a local charity should hire that dude's girlfriend to take pictures of Gimp Suit Man. They can make their money back easily.

Am I the only one who got a Cave Johnson vibe from this? Like, any line of his rant at the end could have been traded with any late Cave line, and it wouldn't have seemed out of place?

I peaced out at 1:30. I only came back because:
A. I saw the title of the video
B. I moused over and saw Jer and a lower third at 1:45.
C. I knew it was the buildup to something hilarious.
