Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.

Here's my deck from the night. P1P1 Garruk kind of drove my colors, even though I really tried to avoid forcing it, I swear. Anyways, he did good work the couple times I got him out, and I managed to 2-1. I only barely lost in the last round with my opponent under 1 minute on the clock. I was super ...

It's served me well in the past as well. Though your deck seems considerably more consistent than mine.

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.

Hey all, just wanted to pop in and share my deck from last night. The draft felt like a mess early on, and it was only a couple of bomb picks in pack two that really solidified my colors. Plus, until the end, I was seriously considering splashing for the child of nights just to have more lifelink. S...

@Maddrius: Does this mean that I'm the only thing that's been standing between you and 3-0s the last two weeks? As soon as I take a week off, you go all the way. >.>

I don't have a video, but you're welcome to comment on my deck, Lord Hosk. I'm not so great on commenting on other people's or giving out advice, so I don't feel like I deserve anything back. I just like posting it up for people who are curious. That said, I always do appreciate what thoughts people...

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.

Here's my 2-1 achieving R/U minor-artifact go-getter of a deck. Won some fairly quick games against Lee and Maddrius, then got pretty handily defeated by Omnicrat. I got a little mana-screwed after a one-land keep and he just rushed out his Engine of Doom Scuttles. So, I doubt I would've stood much ...

I imagine Lord Hosk will still run things via the main chat for now. Until this alternate room has had the time to become more mainstream.

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.

So, here's my deck from last night. It was... solid enough, with some decent swarm tactics, though no trip spirits which would've really brought it the power level it needed. As it was, Haunted Platemail was my bomb. :/ Still, managed to go 2-1, only losing to Omnicrat's goblins. I'm sure luck playe...

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.

The stab wound definitely was sitting in my main board for awhile. I just couldn't feel justified in pulling out two cards (one for the stab wound and one for the second verdant haven) to have an overall less consistent deck. On an iffy splash, I generally always fall on the side of just staying 2 c...

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.

Just gonna throw my deck up here. Didn't do that great with it (1-2). It just could never quite get there against all the removal, and was very sensitive to me flooding or getting screwed. As far as drafting it, I was in black/green (mostly black) in pack one, and I saw some hints that red was open....

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.

Hm, since I have two packs from last night, but we won't be drafting JBT anymore, I wonder if I should keep them for the future, sell them for tix, or just get a Theros pack and play a draft on my own this week.

Re: Loading Ready Fan Draft.

I was in the second pod and didn't get to play with Graham, but I did much better than last time. I went 2-1, losing in the last round against a really aggressive Boros deck. As for my deck: http://imgur.com/a/MxTZM I got coinsmith on the wheel and decided to just go for it. It's very possible I sho...

Re: Duels 2015

Yeah, it's a little worrying to me that packs are a thing now. I'm a little worried Duels might just become a single-set MtGO at some point. However, I'm still getting the base game, and I don't think that it's promoting a bad model specifically. In fact, I think buying the base game but not buying ...

Re: Twitch Sub Emote Suggestions

I think the Checkpoint logo could be good, but I know LRR wants the emoticons to be more widely applicable. To that end, it could be an icon for unnecessary achievements (a la the "Checkpoints" joke). Though maybe that's too similar to "Goat there" anyways.

Yeah, Bitera is my MtGO name. LRR stuff is literally the only place I use Under_Score, so things can get confusing sometimes. It was a fun game, even if I did lose. I really wasn't expecting you to trade both your creatures for my 7-5 Hero's Bane in game 3. I didn't have anything after that, unfortu...

Well, this was my first FanDraft, and it seems I'm something of a novice compared to you all. I ended up 0-3, though I'd like to think those were all pretty hard-fought. They were all great games and I look forward to playing next week if I can. Here's my deck for reference:

After taking the time to actually think about my financial future, I've decided to lower my pledge to $40. Sorry, guys, I just have too much going on from now until the next time I'm likely to have a job. However, since the tier I vacated is the much-coveted $400 "Adventurer of Arland" tie...

I think we should all remember the point of isn't to get some neat, fun prizes, but to fund a great send-off season for our favorite sketch crew! Rewards are just a fun bonus. The add-on options are live and are explained on the Kickstarter page. I am honestly disappointed in the add-on system... what I want, is a pin, a DVD, AND the tennis ball.
