Amazing, isn't it ironic that one of your few stereophonic videos is about one of the few body parts that is only there once, usually.

Maybe a small question: Which popular "16-bit" computer game character actually has that body part twice, in some way at least?

"NTSC"-framerate

Am I a geek for noticing that it was shot at an "NTSC" framerate because the 1/100 second digits oszillate between different digits every second?

Great video, despite of the glitches. Maybe next time you should complete re-encode the original MPEG2 footage into something without intraframes before you edit. (eg into DV) The background in the scene with Jer just looks a bit to modern. Maybe you could try and find some electronics museum that h...

Now that I watched the video for a second time I notied that the quality of the second anthem was about the same as the German entry to the Eurovision Song contest this year.

Other than that, the little dolly ride at the end really looks cool.

Pop Quiz

So a little Pop Quiz:

Which of the "typical cannadian things" is presented in a fairly obscure comic as a mythical beeing. The comic is availiable online.

Well I still have one point of criticism about Uwe Boll. He rightfully complains that the whole movie business is now just corrupt and money driven. However he supports that attitude by making extremely expensive movies. Just look at the great movies of the past, the ones you remimber. Those rarely ...

Colour television?

I wonder if Alex is proud that his colour TV set from the 60s was so much more advanced than anything that was there before in Canada, or for that matter anyway around the world? Liebe Kathleen, my 67 year old mother often doesn't eat that much. When asked why, she replies that she doesn't want to get fat. At flea-markets she's always looking at dresses for little children. I'm afraid that she sees those tiny dresses as a role model for herself and starves herself to death t...

Artificial head stereo?

Well if you need something to do for experimenting, you could try "artificial head stereo". Traditionally this is done by placing 2 microphones into a special head-dummy. Since those dummies are _really_ expensive, you might get a decent approximation by using 2 microphones and putting the...

Re: Green screen

we film everything on our HD camera. in HD. (though graham informs me that we capture in SD - since we publish in SD for internet viewing.) the problem is not the technology at our hands or our skills. our ability to green screen is limited by manpower, budget and timeline. Ohh now I get it, captur...

Green screen

Well could you try shooting such green screen elements with your HDTV camera? As you are using consumer stuff, the problem is probably that you don't have chroma on every pixel. With HDTV you would at least have enought pixels so this turns largely irrelevant. You might also want to try to experimen...

Then second, why do you even care, you do have the only non-dead consumer format: HDV.

Ohh, BTW, there is one potential danger to the microwave. There is a imedance missmatch when you put things inside which do not take the energy, so in a way the wave going out of the magnetron bounces off the walls (or lack of walls) and goes right into it again.

Re: German coach

Nifty, but your german is really bad. Do you need a german language coach, I could help you with that. I wasn't really doing "German" I was intentionally doing the "North Americans doing a silly German accent" accent. Ohh, that also explains why you call it PhailhaĆ¼s in the titl...
