Re: iOS game recommendations

The iOS version of Carcassonne is very well done. It's a little on the pricey side as iOS games go ($9.99 US), but well worth it if you like those German-style table games. They're working on adding some of the expansions, too.

Re: Give In

What would have made this even better, I think, would have been a continuity nod/callback to Ransom. Graham's character from that sketch (Ethan or LaFarge, I can't remember which) dealing with the henchman of the other.

Re: So, How Was Your Day?

Started a new medication from my psychiatrist today, so I'm taking it easy until I figure out how I react to it. Considering livecasting an adventure game since the Magic "broadcast" a couple weeks ago seemed to go over pretty well. For right now, I need lunch, then maybe some anime or gam...

Were those actually different-colored suits, or was it done during editing? Because if it's the latter, it's very well done!

I couldn't help myself—I had to sing along with the DuckTales theme! Alex planking random things was also great.

I didn't notice the music thing until reading the other posts. Minor annoyance, but certainly not enough to ruin the fun.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread

I found that hanging out with women and ignoring the whole "omigod don't make a mistake she's dating material" thoughts while having good conversation helps heaps. This is the part that always gets me. Even if, as in my case, I've been friends with the girl in question for 2+ years, I sti...

Re: DAY 3 to star in a dew minutes:On Now Graham playing MtG: CC

It was 147 - 243, actually. But 60 of WotC's points were from their bizarre "multiball" event where they sprung a game of Archenemy Duels 2012 on us :D Thanks, Graham. I was using the last score I saw in the chatroom, but it's good to have the official numbers. It was great meeting you gu...

Bah, how come people never tell you what you want to hear when it comes to these things? Just kidding, of course; thanks for the input, all. Don't worry: as much as a part of me wants to "go in for the kill," so to speak, I'm well aware that trying to attack a relationship she's (presumabl...

Re: The Big Relationship Thread

(Apologies in advance for the length of this, but it's a rather complicated situation. No tl;dr.) I've known this girl for about two and a half years. We were going to the same college when we met, so I'd talk to her in class and stuff, but we weren't particularly close. That summer we wound up work...

Final score looks to be 127 WotC, 243 Community. Congratulations to all the players! I recorded today's matches, and I'll post links to the videos sometime this weekend. Thanks to Trymantha for providing some color commentary alongside my play-by-play. I hope everyone enjoyed it, and thanks for watc...

It wasn't a problem or anything, but I have to ask for my own curiosity: Was there some reason I missed why Jer was standing kinda sideways for his bit? Just looked a bit akward, but no big deal. Enjoyed the episode as usual - now to be bored until wednesday. I assumed it was to put a lid on all th...

Are the Community Cup matches going to be live-streamed anywhere? I assume MtG Online has some sort of "spectate" mode that would let users watch, but I don't have an account (it costs teh monies). So a ustream or other such feed would be wonderful.
