I'm guessing that's because some games are for less players than the number of judges on the table.

Re: Feed Dump 197 - Things get weird with Andy

Having worked at a grocery store, I can corroborate Andy's assessment that oil is a bitch and a half to clean up. And that's just if one bottle is spilled. I can't even fathom the full extent of how obnoxious cleaning up 20 gallons would be. Easy: http://edushyster.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/ma...

Right, there are credits in the page. That's what I get for only watching on youtube.

Also, for some reason I thought Ian (i.e. the taller character) had boobs. Leeets maybe not think too much about what that says about me.

Re: Undead Dating Simulator

Basically this is all a very roundabout way of saying that it's very difficult to say a storytelling game is "better" than a mechanic-heavy game like some of the previous entries - especially based on the feedback of one group of people after a single play session. This is 100% true, mayb...

Re: Undead Dating Simulator

Mechanic-heavy games, by comparison, take more of the human factor away, so they're able to appeal to wider groups of people. Different, sure, but wider? I don't think so. I'd claim that more people will enjoy a game where you need to learn only a few guidelines to play, and even more if in the end...

Re: S02e01: We Were Pretty Drunk When We Made It

I want to echo all three of Lord Hosk' points, but I'd also like to note that I find the introduction of each chapter a bit weird. I find kind of confusing where the intro (i.e., the part of the video repeated every episode) and where the actual episode starts. It took me about five or six episodes ...

Re: Choose your hell

Dang, too early and I misvoted. I chose which is the worst, not the "best". Worst is the music one, followed closely by the food one, since they're some of my favourite things.

I should have voted for spiders, anything that eats mosquitos is on my side.

Come to think about it, my worst injury does'n thave much of a story, I cut a slice of my finger while cutting some vegetables. The only extra bit was that I had to clean it really fast or what I already had on the fire would burn.

I don't know about Victoria, but around here the wood you knock on must not have legs. So Graham's doesn't count. Never heard that one before. As far as I've ever being told, so long as it's wood, it counts. To be fair, I'm from a pretty different culture and enven then the legs thing is not univer...

Re: Exploding Kittens (Kickstarter) -- Kitty? BOOM!

Quoting Spike (@Iron_spike on twitter), Kickstarter is where you risk your fandom by asking them to invest on you, not where you go make them. Lots of people don't get that all the very succesful kickstarters, specially in artistic stuff, come from people who've been working on this for a long looon...

I had a lot of fun hearing H&K make fun of the awful game and helping them out with the rest of chat. That being said, I hope they have better luck next game, because mono-bad games wouldn't be fun, really. I think this is going to be one of the streams where I prefer it when the game is not too...

Re: Loading Time - Math of the Montage

Here's a question for the drs. LRR: It's been established(?) in various LRRcasts and LTs that you usually don't film too much extra stuff. Did you storyboard and then precisely film the montage or did you take a bunch of shots and then chose the best ones? (Yes, I have no idea how an "actual&qu...

I just realized that crossing the streams (CtS) is going to be late at night for me, so I'm going to miss most of it. Also, with CP+ starting earlier, I'll probably miss it due to being at work, or on the street. Oh well, there's always the rep....oh. I'm not complaining really, more content is alwa...
