I bought $100 of books that will be given away to students this week. (I bought some of my college-bound seniors a book of quotable quotes as graduation gifts. They will have little personalized notes in the front.)

Fairly common for people to ask for recipes. I don't know how many times I've given out my recipe for beef veggie soup, or my white chili... or choc chip cookies for that matter. Its a hazard of pot-lucking...

You DO realize that the types of sunflowers you planted grow to like... 10-12 feet tall, and that jar is nowhere near large enough to support them, right? These aren't dwarfs, they are giants.

Mom helped me start a philodendron that we rooted from a cutting of my grandmother's giant plant that wraps around her entire first floor. We transplanted the cuttings into pots for my classroom today.


Mom says I get extra points for having a third generation plant.

As shitty as the results are, at least you have some results. Sounds like you're headed in the right direction to get the proper answers and assistance... may be a longer road than you expected, but its in the right direction.
