Hanar hat FTW!
And shortly after Desert Bus, this year's Mass Effect Marathon (also for Child's Play) is raffling off a plush Garrus.
This is going to be the best year ever for cute space abominations.

Re: The thread of win
On Friday night I got to see Leonard Cohen in concert. It was one of the best performances I've ever seen. And I got into his music after hearing a "Hallelujah" cover during Desert Bus a couple of years ago, so thanks to LRR for planting that seed.

I thought you were trolling.
Then I googled "death of Chewbacca."

Re: Well this is... a thing. (Disney buys Lucasfilm)
There was word a year or so ago, from Lucas himself I believe, that any future Star Wars films would be set "centuries" after the original trilogy, completely bay-passing any conflicts with EU stuff by featuring a new time period so-to-speak. I think that would be a pretty neat idea and d...

Re: Of Ultrabooks and MacBook Airs
Some of the ultrabooks are lighter than the Macbook Air. On the other hand, the Macbook Air is more solidly constructed than a lot of ultrabooks. And things like the trackpad and keyboard vary a lot in quality from one ultrabook to another. I recommend checking out your intended computer in person b...

We're hoping that pushing back the start time will actually mean that many more people are able to be around to watch the very end of the run. That sounds like a good idea. The end of DB tends to be really energetic: all the LRR cast and friends and family are there, everybody is excited about what...

We're also reducing the number of call-ins this year. Last year's call-ins were awesome, but too frequent and could really slow the energy of the run. Slow the energy of the run? Aha! I wondered how you would top last year's Desert Bus, but now I know the answer. Old and busted: driving a slow bus ...

Matt, you are returning to Victoria for Desert Bus this year, right? It just won't be the same unless you serenade James with a certain Electric Six song.

All of you people rushing to Dessert Bus's defense are missing the point. Child's Play Charity is all about helping kids who are in the hospital. You know what the leading cause of health problems in North America is? Obesity. If LRR really wanted to help the children, they wouldn't be driving a des...

Re: The Birds, the bees, and the bears
This year's Desert Bus is going to get awkward when the good doctors LRR start taking challenge suggestions from viewers. "A hundred dollars for caramelldansen? Yeah, we'll do that." "Fifty dollars for an acapella dubstep version of Still Alive? Sure!" "Five dollars to probe...

According to the Internet, the "strata fees" referenced in this video are Canada's equivalent to the "HOA fees" in some other countries. My guess is that the eight thousand dollars a month in maintenance fees for that New York residence may in fact be the strata fees.

I'll say one thing though, not all the blackouts where supposed to be height related. In my mind it was drunkenness, head rush/drunkenness, fear of heights, and—actually—anger. Wait, so the blackout in this one wasn't from drinking bleach and dying? Apparently I need to reevaluate my theories. If a...

I can't wait to see where the fifth installment goes. Will we learn that everything in the fourth video was a hallucination that Johnny experienced after drinking the bleach? Or will episode five reveal that Jonny is already dead, due to the aforementioned bleach drinking, and that the alleyway from...

The slow motion sequences in this video reminded me of Daily Drop. Now I'm hoping to see a crossover: cook random things in a microwave while dropping the microwave onto the floor. It would be the best thing ever.

Such an amazing career, from the early party anthems, to the ahead-of-its-time sampling mashup of Paul's Boutique , to the big hits of the 1990s, to social activism, to hard-earned acclaim as a gray-haired elder statesman of both rap and alternative rock. Well done, Mr. Yauch. Thank you for living a...

I finally got a chance to watch Friday Nights, and after viewing the first three episodes I can exclaim, "not bad!" I don't play Magic The Gardening, and all the talk of Chartreuse Decks and Mythic Rancid Planemongers is foreign to me, but each episode made me laugh nonetheless. Structurin...

I didn't enjoy this video as much as other recent LRR videos. It seemed distinctly like a rant with a little bit of plot wrapped around it, so it felt unnatural as a skit.

And Paul was very unconvincing as a creepy stalker character. Also a compliment.
