Re: Gaming General Chat Thread
Continuing on my dark souls adventure. I ended up killing the first black smith because I left clicked on my mouse after repairing my gear, which caused me to attack him. This was before I knew you could un-agro an NPC. Which I really should have looked up sooner because I already killed the first m...

Re: Gaming General Chat Thread
Yeah I looked up the receivers, I would rather buy a wired controller. For now I'm sticking with the keyboard, makes it even more interesting.

Re: Gaming General Chat Thread
Unfortunately I don't have a PS3 or PS4 controller, and only the wireless 360 controllers. It's ok I'm getting used to it, and this way if I beat it, I can brag to my friends who had to use controllers.

Re: Gaming General Chat Thread
With school out of the way and dark souls going on sale I decided to take the plunge and see what this game was all about. I will admit the game is hard, but I don't find it frustrating. Super meatboy was frustrating when I started to fail things I shouldn't be (which I soon will probably start doin...

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread
Yeah the deck wasn't going to be all about the combo as much as just drawing and play elves.
Alright thanks for the help guys, I think I have enough to stand a chance against my friends decks.

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread
Alright I'l try those out. I don't know about Cloudstone Curio though. The interaction is cute but is it worth a place in the deck? Wirewood Symbiote has the added benefit of protecting your guys from removal. What do you think about Garruk caller of beasts, does his hand refilling make him worth ru...

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread
I did run 1 nykthos (only 1 cause thats all I had) and when I did get it this may sound weird but I didn't have a use for it. I had all the mana I could ever need the problem usually is lack of anything to do with it, which is why I am thinking of adding another triumph of the hordes. If I have enou...

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread
I will definitely try Ezuri, another good thing about him is genesis wave can get him down with a relatively small investment.

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread
Running blue hasn't put the deck at a disadvantage yet but that could always happen. Harmonize is good for the later part but I already have soul of the harvest for draw at that point in the game. Beck has been useful for early refilling, and can enable some stupid combos with heritage druid. Have d...

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread
That's not a bad idea, I forgot about him. If I can get him down early and protect some of the first few elves that might make the deck less fragile.

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread
I'm working on a budget elf modern deck just for fun. It works by getting soul of the harvest, or genesis wave on turn 3 and then a big drop of primal surge, craterhoof, or triumph of the hordes. It also uses beck (which is freaking awesome by the way) to get that extra fuel. The problem I have with...

Re: Journey Into Nyx Pre-Release
My pool was pretty crap, which is weird because I didn't have bad cards. Every colour was spread very thin. I had some good white, some good red, some good black, but not enough. So I went G/U, which was also full of decent cards but it all started at 4 mana, and I had just an acolyte for ramp. I we...

Since Cam likes Civ maybe he can play Sins of a solar empire? I hear they are similar, but I just really like space games.

My favorite would probably be 30 seconds or less. Everything in the video just feels perfect to me. I found LRR from unskippable after their ads kept playing after every zero punctuation video. Even though I don't really contribute much on the forums, I have been lurking here and making the occasion...

I made an MTGO account a while ago, but I completely forgot the password, and I can't seem to reset it as the site just gives me an error after I try set a new password. But if I do get it figured out at some point, my username is Vigilantic apparently.

Re: The General Chat thread
Well by wizards I meant wizards of the coast, so I don't know how many drinking games go on at their parties, but that was annoyed me the most about not being able to go. I don't drink, like at all. I have crohns so drinking would be a really bad idea. It hurt just that much more not being allowed e...

Re: The General Chat thread
The only reason I am looking forward to turning 21 (1 month tomorrow) is because if I go to PAX this year I can actually go to the wizards party which is held at a bar (god damn it that was annoying to find out last year, had to stand in a long line and play that stupid game and then noooooo you can...

Re: Need fun or flavorful commander ideas
I currently play a Melek deck. The point of the deck seems to be to get as many extra turns as possible in multiplayer games or if you are going 1v1 just continuously remove the opponents commander. It wins much more in multiplayer but annoying my opponent in 1v1 is always fun for me.

Re: The General Magic: The Gathering Thread
On topic with today's TTC my friend made a cube out of cards he had laying around as well as any donations the rest of us wanted to make. The catch is the cube is made to be played as pack wars. All the cards are sorted by rarity and packs are made by randomly putting in the correct amount of common...

Probably does but I wasn't able to read the message when it happened and the game started just fine. I want to know what it is. My friends think it looks like a crown, but I was thinking some kind of crystalish thing.

Re: Gaming General Chat Thread
So just out of curiosity and cause I don't really know where else to ask. Does anybody know what this googly eyed thing is?
It appeared when I started up diablo 3 but only once. I've never gotten it to appear again.
