Re: GPLP: X-Men Destiny
So hold on. If you were still given the CHOICE of the X-Men or the Brotherhood at that point, what was the whole point of the allegiance meter? Would Cyclops just have given you disapproving glares on each mission if you went with him with a full Brotherhood meter?

Re: GPLP: X-Men Destiny
Is it just me, or were they using Wilhelm Screams as one of the generic "thug falls off a crane" sounds? I could swear I heard two of them right in a row.

Re: GPLP: X-Men Destiny
No, we'll do the whole thing. It can't be much longer... I hope. "Wait! In order to understand this next plot point, you need to go back and play through most of the game as the other two player-controlled mutants!" Though really, I'm wondering at what point the girl and Chad Backpack wil...

Re: Yakuza 4 - Part 1
And, somewhere up in heaven, Bert I. Gordon looked down upon the Yakuza 4 intro sequence's glacial pace, smiled, and nodded his head, content that his directorial legacy will live on in spirit. ...wait, Bert I. Gordon isn't dead? Oh. Sorry. My mistake. But hey, great video! I can't wait to see what ...

Re: GPLP: X-Men Destiny
Suddenly, I'm sort of morbidly curious as to how Chad Backpack's dialogue is any different from Chad Football's. If it significantly is at all.

Re: GPLP: X-Men Destiny
Ah, Mister Wilhelm. You have a nasty habit of surviving... It's looking like the subtitle writers got lazier and lazier as the game went on. It'd be hilarious if by the end of the game, you had a completely different story being told in the subtitles than what was being spoken. Like, different chara...

Re: GPLP: X-Men Destiny
After a long stretch of game whose mainline missions AND half of the Challenge Arena missions consist entirely of "beat up hordes of these same five guys over and over again", I really don't think it's fair to have missions where you have to do something unique and have the mission descrip...

Re: GPLP: X-Men Destiny
Y'know, I understand the whole issue about having to let the player play as someone who's cool and all if this is a superhero action game, but still, I really do have to wonder, what with you collecting and upgrading all the X-Genes throughout the game, each of which just so happens to kinda sorta r...

Why is it that, when the first scientist ran up in the research lab, my first thought was "you, sir, are no Dr. Kleiner"?

Re: Hot Nurses and Pregnant Chimps
Man, not even anyone else running the camera? Dang.
Strangely, the whole thing had a sorta Ze Frank feel to it. I liked it. Did seem like Graham was able to go further and further into madness when alone like this. Especially the pee-wee post-game hockey interview. The hate. The HATE.

Re: Spare Us, Gus
Aw. I was actually expecting the entire thing to be the setup to some truly horrible asparagus-based pun in the end (besides the title). Hm. Actually, now that I think of it, probably better that it wasn't. Still, liked it either way! Someone's got to make a full multiple-course asparagus-based meal...

Re: Episode 41 - Double-Extra Fine
The problem is, when I hear about the Kickstarter thing with Tim Schafer, I can't help but see it as "with Tim Schafer and Ron Gilbert". Which, admittedly, sounds really really awesome... at first. I say "at first" because then I recall other gaming industry superstars getting to...

Re: 38 - A Butte Man
When I saw this Feed Dump, I was so impressed that I needed a reminder as to who the Production Director was. And then I watched to the end of the credits and felt like I was left hanging. Curses! I thought about it, and if I wanted to have a high-speed police chase, Montana would be the place. I me...

Re: Shit People Say
Man, I've been playing too much Triple Town. From just that one distinctive "BLING! Wobble..." at the end when Graham was on the toilet, my mind immediately screamed "Sweet! A hut!".
