Re: The depressing depression thread
Thank you, Fayili. I was worried and now I'm relieved he's still alive and therefore not too late for help to reach him. I'd like to be able to communicate the following in case he missed seeing some of it or misinterpreted chat's responses to his words. I hope his mother may find some comfort from ...

With text that would translate to not having the expressive face at all most likely, unless you did put some emoticons with your words. As frivolous as emoticons seem they're a pretty useful tool to helping others grasp your frame of mind.

Perhaps they interpret a neutral expression as a pout instead of what it is cause they expect smiles all the time...? I like the cartoon and I can see how it would be very annoying.

Re: The depressing depression thread
AdmiralMemo, I'm not sure if your conversation with someone was part whispered or not...someone made a comment that it seemed they were only seeing half of it. Hope someone wasn't whisper harassing you.
I didn't notice any negative statements from you tonight.

Re: The depressing depression thread
Phi, being an introvert I definitely understand that feeling. Going to school meeting more like minded people has helped me and irc as well though for sure sometimes still feel that way at times. I'm interested if you'd like to share any artwork online that you've done. Mine can be found through dig...

Glad to hear you are out of the fog and that things are moving in a good direction. I think studying art in Finland sound fun! I'm an artist too. Do you have an art portfolio or is it more the history side you plan to study? I definitely know the lost and lonely feeling. Sometimes it helps to be aro...

*Offers Phi a hug* We're here if you want to elaborate or just chat. You aren't as alone as it seems. Also another FYI Desert Bus old main irc chat server is changing on Feb 1st and will be called something else from that point onward but once it is we'll post new info. Re: The depressing depression thread
As alone as you might feel right now, there are others who feel the same way as you do and there are people that care. I know chat can be a very self absorbed place that can fail to notice people at times especially while they are watching a stream at the same time as the chat. Please know that peop...

Re: The depressing depression thread
I don't know if I suggested this before but for those that can't have a pet but like animals enough can ease a bit of social anxiety by visiting with animals at animal shelters instead of trying to do it with people all the time. This helps to feel less alone though I know shelters aren't the most j...

Make sure your candidate plans to take action on electoral reform to make the system more proportionally representational cause "first-past-the-post" sucks:
