PAX AUS 2015: Loading Ready Run Fanmeet!
Hey all! So a bit belatedly, I'm trying to organise our fan meet for this year! Let's look at what's on offer: http://www.bangpop.com.au/content/sitesmart/f6/0b/0e/212dd5c6-f883-4224-b4df-66178c0c62e1/home/about/_jcr_content/content/_2cols/col1/image_box_0/image.img.jpg/1416263169874.jpg Last year w...

I could be wrong, of course, I'm no expert. But I don't see it becoming a constructed staple, y'know? People will want it now for their collections and then I see interest tapering off.

If you plan to sell, I'd sell now.

Re: Magic the Gathering: Ask a Judge
With four Kalastria Healers in the graveyard and nothing else, I cast March from the Tomb.
How much am I cackling here? Is it 16 points worth of cackling, 10 points of cackling or 4 points of cackling?

Going in, I'd been saying all week I wanted to play the Allies; be the heroes, conquer the day. Then I saw my pool. "Well then, let's be bad guys." Number of lands marked by dice. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/642/21753009612_244ddea673_k.jpg It was the right call. I went 5-0.

Enjoyable, though not quite on par with the first one. I think the first one used its running gags of the missing pot holes and unbelievable humidity to greater effect. My thoughts: o. Disliked the old wife is the closet. Cute gag, but slightly diminishes the straight man status of the two hosts tha...

Friday also tends to be a little less crowded than Sunday to my memory because people work.
Also should we do another meetup after again?

Holy shit. Yeah, Ob Nixilis is going to be sweet. Draw, unconditional removal and synergy between first and last abilities for five mana in a slow format? Holy shit.

Hmmmm...I can see what you mean about it not conveying Koira's personality. The art itself is very good, but Kiora herself is very expressionless. I actually don't like the Ob Nixilis art, its...soft? Is that the right word? Blurry? And the contrast is just to dark! I think Raymond Swanland should ...

Uggggh. That Kiora art is awful, to my mind. There's nothing dynamic, nothing powerful, nothing characterizing about it. It's just eye candy. Bleh.
