Re: Doctor Who
Does anyone know if there will just be nothing in 2012? Or if it will be like 2009 (I think...) where there were still a few specials. I don't think I can go a whole year without Doctor Who. Especially if the world ends before we even get a Christmas special

It sounds to me like he's more keeping his options open and he wants to make the decision before he is completely gone.

I think the idea of buying two toys and sticking them together is great! It shows that you put a little bit more thought into it and he gets a cool one of kind gift. If you bought 3, you could make 3 more awesome hybrids!

Its not that weird that people haven't eaten Mexican food... Growing up, the closest thing i ever had was tacos made from those taco kits you get at the restaurant. My parents are very "steak and potatoes" Pennsylvannia Dutch, so we eat a lot of meat and starches. The first time I had real...

What the... I don't even... Ok, back to the thread. I eat lots of stews that I make in my 30 year old crock pot. Super easy to make, just dump everything in and you're done. Makes lunch for all week. Regarding pizza: I like it hot and cold. But I can only eat it cold if it doesn't have too much sauc...

Re: A new Mac for GaProgMan
Korri - the answer is yes, but the cost may be as much as a new laptop. Well, no it wouldn't. The question she asked was if she went to the Genius Bar before her warranty was up. And if they run a free diagnostic and find something wrong, it would still be covered under warranty. Ok awesome, thats ...

Here's a random question, my mac is coming up on being 3 years old and thus out of warranty. If I went to the Genius bar before then and asked them to look over it and replace what needs replacing do you think they would do that?

Definitely get the Apple Care! Thats what I tell everyone who is hesitating. The computer sitting on my lap needed a new hard drive about a year and half after I got it and they put it in for free! On other macs I've also need a new hard drive, keyboard and screen. Now, don't take this to mean that ...

I've had a rash on my eyelid since January and the dermotalagist decided it looked like an allergic reaction, so she ordered a patch test. This involves taping about 100 little disks with different chemicals in them to my back. And now its a million degrees out (or 86F) and the only thing they tell ...

Re: Apparently, "The Cult of Apple" is, arguably, exactly that!
I had a friend who works in the Apple Store, and is an Apple fan (of course), and tried to convince me that Apple's are better than PC's, and her line of reasoning was: Because they are. Ugh, I hate this. I like apple, and I like using my Apple products, but I also like using my Windows computer to...

Call. Call. Call. Show up if you can
The worst that can happen is that they remember you as the person who kept calling... The important part of which is that they remember you. If you send an email, they most likely will just delete or send a form letter.

Anyone else think these two episodes could have been fit into one episode? I mean the only reason this two parter existed was to introduce the idea of the living plastic or whatever the called it, so that we know what happened to Amy. So the thing about with the pot butter happened near me and it's really hilarious when you're watching tv and a news comercial comes on and says "A babysitter fed a young child marijuana laced butter, more at 11". Its a serious WTF moment.

I was fortunate while I was a kid to have a CD player and stereo from the age of about 8 on, so I pretty much have everything from a ridiculous number of Disney soundtracks: Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Aladdin etc. (all of which are currently in my itunes, because I am not ashamed o...
