Re: Qwerpline Ep13 - March Marchness

Then, too, there was the Libertine Submarine Limousine, made from an old U-boat that they somehow got from... Sweden, wasn't it?

Re: Qwerpline Ep13 - March Marchness

beej's non-rhyming everything ending in -ough Yeah, that was surprisingly funny for not being a rhyme. Although he did use both "borough" and "thorough", which do rhyme, as do "through" and "slough". I guess it doesn't matter, since in each case the two words...

Re: Crapshots - Volume 4

I thought in Crapshots, as in commodoreHustle, everybody pretty much played themselves.

So since Paul is both the Streamhouse guy and the MTG salt guy, they should be the same person.

I mean, it's not like Paul is Beej...

Wait a minute... Paul IS Beej, as of the Shave.

Episode 326 isn't on the LRR website, even though it is on Youtube. Is that a problem?

Re: Qwerpline Ep12 - Seemingly At Random

I'm very impressed with Beej for getting so much comic mileage out of "It works!"

Sometimes it's the really brief jokes that bring down the house, and I think this was one of those times.

Re: Crapshots - Volume 4

For me, those two seconds of close-up on the card turned an otherwise "I don't get it" Crapshot into an "ROFL" Crapshot. Maybe I still don't get it. What follows is how I understand the joke. Cam found the Hedron Alignment on the table (on the battlefield). Graham found t...

Re: Crapshots - Volume 4

It is pretty weird, but I think some of the earlier crapshots are weirder, like the one where Alex throws a sheep at Graham in reverse.

It's good to know that Alex is just as good at bad jokes as ever. It's been a while since he has done any Punishment Crapshots.

Beej is the one who comes up with the tongue-twisting brand names, isn't he?

I could tell that he was having a lot of fun with Great Height Freight Lightweight Flight.

Thanks for the response, Beej. I understand that winter is a hard time for... pretty much everyone north of the Tropic of Cancer, and especially for our immune systems.

I am very pleased to know that you have such a great interest in keeping the show going, and I look forward to the next episode.

I don't know if caviar are the eggs of a specific type of fish, or just fish in general, but I imagine that saltwater fish and their eggs would be pretty high in salt.

Re: Qwerpline Ep08 - Fourth Quarter

It's been more than four weeks since this last Qwerpline, and I'm starting to worry that they might discontinue it altogether.

I'm sure it's been a busy holiday season... sorry, Fourth Quarter... but I wanted to voice my concerns.

Re: LRRcast - Christmas Traditions Part: 2

Peak Christmas age for me was 10. I didn't enjoy Christmas nearly as much when I was 11, nor have I enjoyed Christmas very much since then. Getting Christmas presents just isn't that fun when you already have everything you want.

So this means that one season is 100 episodes (on average, at least), doesn't it? For some reason I thought they were 104 episodes.

Re: The Aces of LRR

I guess I know too much about sex to want to do most of the activities associated with sex. I don't even enjoy masturbating very much. (And whatever enjoyment I do get from it diminishes pretty quickly.) Yet I'm not sure if I can really call myself asexual, because there is one thing that I'm pretty...

I can make one. I'm pretty sure Dubstep Beej is not as funny if you're expecting it, though, so I've put it in Spoiler tags. There's also a youtube compilation for which I've provided the link (bottom line); I hope LRR is down with that. 165: The Groceries______________ 196: The DUI_________________...

Re: Congratulations Graham and Kathleen!

I just learned about this from Crapshots Episode 293. Like I said on the Crapshots forum, I think we're at that awkward stage where it's too late to congratulate you on the pregnancy, but too early to congratulate you on the birth. I think I'm inclined towards the latter, though, since by all accoun...
