Rucdoc from chat is actually making a number of pools, including pretty much every Nsburg character, the LRR Crew, and people from chat.

Desert Bus 9 Torrent is live!
File size clocks in at 209GB, so be prepared for that. Anubis169 has gone through and done his best to fix the audio sync issues as well.

Re: Gaming General Chat Thread
The biggest thing I think is knowing when to lock on to the enemies, and when not to. When you lock on, the camera tracks your target, but that can cause you to lose awareness of your surroundings - and with big bosses (or in tight spaces), the camera can go into weird angles and make you lose all v...

Re: New Desert Bus Chat/IRC
The Bunker will still serve as an emergency backup, but that's far less likely to be necessary now. We're running on 4 separate servers, so even if one goes down, you should still be able to connect and get a different node.

Re: New Desert Bus Chat/IRC
I've passed that along, and we're looking into it. It's possible that too many connections from the web client caused the server to start refusing them. So it should be a temporary problem.

Honestly I just lurk 90% of the time, and I know I'm not the only one. But then a discussion on the economics of Star Trek or something starts, so I join in.
So don't feel you have to speak up in there if you don't feel comfortable yet.

New Desert Bus Chat/IRC
Hi guys, So since Desert Bus switched to using Twitch Chat a couple years, the Desert Bus IRC we've being using for the past several years is finally going away. HOWEVER, Desert Bus Chat will not die so easily! We are relocating over to irc.dbcommunity.org If you don't have an IRC client, you can ju...

Re: LRRcast - Best of 2015 Part 2
I just got...bored of Fallout 4. My main issues are the lack of choice and non-main-quest story (as Graham said, it's always everybody shooting at you), and that it (along with FO3) don't fit with the themes of the earlier games. Mechanically, I think it's the best (at least of the modern Fallout ga...

Re: CheckPoint 215 - Scratching the Highest Court
Generally speaking, the Supreme Court doesn't rule on individual cases, they rule on matters of law itself. Or rather, they don't care if someone's guilty or innocent, just that they were tried correctly (simplifying greatly, obviously).

That's one hurdle out of the way, but the problem of him needing 30+ hours of free time to do it is still there.
So, in the long run, yes the odds have come up. For any time in the immediate future, it's still not in the cards.

Ok, I listened to the segment again, and wrote down the stated facts of the house: Crosswalk across his backyard - from one end of the property line to the other. Road in front of his house, nothing behind him but scenic desert and a white zebra crossing. In the salt flat, "beyond" highway...

Re: Qwerpline Ep08 - Fourth Quarter
Gunterson's house IS in the middle of the freeway. Example: https://twistedsifter.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/highway-build-around-house-in-china-2.jpg Gunderson specifically refers to having a back yard and a driveway. (and says there is nothing behind his house except scenic desert) It was built ...

Yeah, I pretty much always use a mouse and disable the touchpad on a laptop. Usually there's a button or one of the function keys to turn it off.

So given Twitch chat direct control of ones inventory in Fallout 4 quickly results in all the chem addictions. Exactly as intended.
