Re: New Transformer Prime owner - Experience

I just bought that app on your recommendation! I won't be able to try it out until I get home on Sunday evening, but I'm looking forward to it! Cool, let me know what you think! It also has a really handy mode where it integrates with a google account (via a google app) so that you can get to your ...

Yep, I did the same... started on book two, but so far (~60%) it's not as gripping as the first. I was disappointed by some of the turns it took, but it still has a chance to surprise me :)

Re: New Transformer Prime owner - Experience

Very nice! I've had an original Transformer for a bit now, and was considering upgrading to a Prime... though the original does everything I want it to, and it should be getting an ICS update very soon. The tablet gmail experience is definitely great. There are also a bunch of tablet-optimized Andro...

Re: Books you're reading now

I've had time to do quite a bit of reading in the past while; mostly sci-fi and fantasy. (Hmm.. it might be time to balance out with some non-fiction!) I finally finished House of Leaves. It.. what. The ending, with the appendices, had me completely going WTF. Very enjoyable, and a very interesting ...

I don't know a single, sadly. I've been buying enough to get bulk discounts...

Maybe a dime?

I wonder if this run will be enough to drive the price up... or is there just too much supply?

Re: Fitocracy: LoadingReadyRunners

That was probably the best run I've ever done; unfortunately, my efforts at min/maxing the challenge (putting those MMO skills to good use!) didn't succeed -- quest points don't seem to count :D I also didn't get credit for running 5k, even though it was done in one session.. I just logged the indiv...

Warning: bad grammar rant. I read lots of books. I read lots of books on my Kindle, and I'm very happy that Amazon has given authors an easy way to get their works into the hands of readers. But. If you are going to even pretend to be an author -- or if you're even going to consider charging for you...

I think that's the general rule for anything you can do to yourself that someone else can do too. Incidentally I knew someone who could self felate and despite being fascinating wasn't as hot as I had imagined it to be... Yep, especially with someone else there, you're just thinking "why am I ...

Lonely as in, "this needs a second person to join in for this to work." Two seconds later. "Wait, I have a better idea." I'm guessing your first one. Yeah, that seems like the difference between "It would be nice/fun to share this moment with someone" vs. "I wish ...

Yeah, I think points-wise it can help to look at the quests for weight training. I don't know when the quests run out or start to get repetitive though; would be nice if they were able to generate them to nudge you to vary workouts.

Are you sure your camera doesn't have firewire/1394? That's generally been on almost all of Sony's DV cameras in the past many years. If your laptop has a firewire port on it as well, you should be good to go; if not, there are a few ways you can get one in there. Another option would be to find a h...
