Yeah Witcher 1's controls were not optimal in the slightest and then 2 was really jarring, I also made the jump straight from 1 to 2. Truck through it, once you unlock a few perks and start delving into the specialised trees it gets much better

Oh no the enemy AI absolutely gets better but yeah Allied is terrible.

Wave 11 is my highest so far and I still haven't had the AI kill anyone. There does seems to be a serious problem with their collision avoidance AI though, they die more in between waves crashing into asteroids than anything else.

RedNightmare that is exactly what it is. E3 is an industry event aimed at selling the games to GAME or GameStop or EB. It is not aimed at the average gamer, thats one of the reasons PAX has been so successful because that is aimed at gamers not the industry.

Yep, I have been killed more times by the hulk of a Vanduul I just shot down than by anything else. Also on the AI, they are just terrible shots, even with the Gatling gun fix, unless they are directly in line with the target they just miss because they can't lead their target.

Whelp I got to play finally, first of the game is very pretty, almost unbelievable so for an alpha. Secondly M+K was horrible for me, i couldn't fly as it constantly overcorrected whenever i moved the mouse. Controller seems to be the far superior option so far.
