WHY DOES EVERY FUNNY SONG GET CREDITED TO DOCTOR DEMENTO!?! HE'S A DJ, NOT A MUSICIAN!!!
AARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!

Sorry bout that. Nothing against you, Nyarlathotep, not your fault.

That song is by a Canadian radio comedy group called The Vestibules, who are very, very awesome.

oh....

i just figured Dr. demento because it was on a doctor demento cd i bought ages ago

Unless I heard wrong, none of you are playing Shadow Complex. Why are you not playing Shadow Complex?
Unless, of course, it was mentioned in the missing podcast. In which case, never mind.

The download, both through iTunes and directly from this website is astoundingly slow. It slows to a crawl after about 7MB and just doesn't finish.

Fun fact about the title for "And yet it moves." It's supposed to be what Galilio said to himself after the inquisition forced him to recant on his belief that the Earth revolves around the sun. One of the three things I remember from high school history.

i've been waiting for ages for you guys to get to that question and all i getz is a your mum joke. asshats.

nice podcast otherwise :P

At least you got answered. My questions were all collected in a single post: the one immediately before the first one answered in this podcast. Sucks to be me.

Bulbous Bouffant sounds like it was inspired by Pena by Captain Beefheart. It's not bad.

This falls under me not hearing it right. In fact, I completely missed James' segment of what they're playing.

That would be on your end, not LRR's. Check your DSL/Ethernet connection, and run Speedtest

Actually, just these last few weeks I've been having the same problem with LRRcast downloads, and only LRRcast downloads, slowing down to a crawl after a while and taking about half an hour to finish.

I, too, heard the Paul + Kermit the Frog in Dan's voice. Which is interesting, because I always thought Paul mit beard looked kind of like Grover. This only confirms my suspicious that the Saunders family has some muppet in its history.

To you guys having problems (and if you have a Windows PC), have you considered clicking the download button, copying the URL, and opening it in Windows Media Player instead?

I've been doing this as of late due to Windows Vista not showing the Quicktime bar.

I just subscribed up to the podcast feed for itunes and let itunes download them for me.

The sound is too quiet on the LRRCast player, but fine once I get it locally.

I never really thought about doing that.

Probably because I don't actually download the podcasts. Maybe I should.

Have you tried raising the volume on the player?

On full and computer volume cranked to full and it's just audible. Download it locally and play it and I only need to crank the player volume up. I can leave my speaker volume alone.

I do believe that a few qustions in the askLRR thread got unanswered when the last LRRcast disappeared (on page 52 to be exact). Don't think me a complaining douchebag here, because I do love everything about LRR but I kinda wanted to hear the answer to my superhero related question. :)

I think that if Dan's ever in town you should do a video guest starring him, he seems like a pretty funny guy.
