I heard Graham say that the archives were staying where they were.
Nothing to see here.

Re: LRRcast for Mercenary Solutions 2
I think we can all agree that the real reason that we have appeared at all bent out of shape regarding the move to The Escapist, is that we are all jealous that you guys get to get paid to do what you love. And isn't that what we all want?
That, and we love our little community here.
And incidentally, the honourarium thing for guest writers is pretty cool. I have a couple scripts I need to finish and polish to send to you guys. Were they to be accepted (which I in NO WAY expect) and used, and were I to receive said honourarium, rest assured the proceeds would be dropped directly into the piggy bank for next year's Desert Bus (Desert Bus IV: The Voyage Home).

Re: LRRcast for Mercenary Solutions 2
Personally, I think payment in the form of some sort of swag would be beneficial to both the crew and the writer. What I have seen most often is either free t-shirts or Amazon gift certificate codes, but in the end, the biggest honor from the Crew is that they used your script. I mean who doesn't want to see their name on a fully produced product of sorts?

Re: LRRcast for Mercenary Solutions 2
Personally seeing a script I wrote get acted out would be enough for me, but I don't really object to the idea of giving back something to the writer, like a few bucks, a free t-shirt... Kate's phone number...
*cough*
Anyway, plans to reward swag aside I'm going to say for the Nth time how great it is that you've gotten this contract with The Escapist that lets you do that in the first place. Props as always.
I'm going to get back to, you know, *writing* now...

Hey, dumb question: what exactly did Kathleen yell during New Moon? I couldn't quite make it out.

How do you pronounce Tim's last name?
What are you looking at.
Re: LRRcast for Mercenary Solutions 2
Just start by saying Sev then cough as you pronounce the rest.

In regards to the "No sun" comment, I've been to the moonbase, it gets plenty of sunlight. I still have my wacky tan that starts halfway up my forearm.
And there's the massive barn door in the side!
If you didn't see sunlight you have only yourselves to blame.

On the moon you are either in bright sun or in dark shadow.

No matter how you look at it, Desert Bus is incredibly dull

*gasp*
I am scandalized, (SCANDALIZED!), to learn that you aren't "hookers and blow and fast cars" after the escapist licensing, let alone before.
My world has been rocked.

Is there a great need to know? I suspect it's alright just to call him Tim.
