While they did look it up, so did I and got Golden Sun.

Gold and Silver are gameboy color games... I also found Golden Sun in my independent looking-it-up.

Also I recommend a co-op term to anyone who has the option of doing one.

Ah, I loved this What We're Playing Now because Valve is my favorite, or maybe second favorite, video game company. I love Left 4 Dead for its incredibly hardcore cooperative gameplay and TF2 for its great class balance and because I played plenty of TFC, which is inferior to TF2.

Actually, they are remaking Gold & Silver for the DS, like they did with Red and Blue for the Gameboy Advanced.

Edit: Wrong quote....

But posting one podcast a week with AskLRR as the ENTIRE THING does help you catch up. Hooray AskLRR! Also, hi. I'm new here.

Hi, DRog! Head on over to the Introduce Yourself forum so you can... well... introduce yourself.

I could be wrong, but I interpreted elitewalmartsecurity's question as meaning that all evidence of every video game in existence right now gets wiped except for one, and as a result every future video game will be heavily influenced by that one game. In which case the answer is clearly Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, because then the computer game industry will be renowned for the strength of its plots, characters and gameplay mechanics. And I almost cracked up writing that sentence, even though it's just a hypothetical.

Re: job applications gone wrong, I got invited to what I thought was an interview by a prospective employer, only to have it turn out to be "an informal little chat, just to put a name to the faces on applicants' CVs". Because I was so thrown off by this, and the guy was fifteen minutes late turning up, I didn't give a particularly good account of myself. Net result: I didn't get to the interview stage, I was seriously pissed off, and I was £60 poorer due to travel fares. Good times.

Wish I had a month gap to play games. I have about 30 odd games on my 360 and 10 on my PC that I haven't finished.

When they brought up the City High quote, I was all, "Oh! 90s! My genre! I know exactly what song it is." But someone beat me to it :(

There's 12 different ways to use "Eh" conversationally. Every good Canadian knows this.
