The new format does make this seem less of a big deal. And, hopefully will actually make it easier on you guys to record since you don't have to put so much time aside in one go.

I just assumed TGwP would be recorded right after the podcast for the videos. Hopefully this isn't a glimpse of the start of a spotty schedule.

I think TGwP got forked to make it so they could more easily jam a podcast in amongst all the videos they're working on. Gives them a half hour extra, plus the editing time, that can be done during the week instead of on Saturday.

The reason (I think it was on Twitter) that they didn't record it directly after the regular podcast like last time was they had to leave immediately after, and didn't have time to record it then, and as James said here, couldn't get together later to do it. On the old podcast schedule AskLRR would have being dropped instead.

With the release of Bioshock 2 and all.
In the older podcasts, you are right. AskLRR would have been cut if there wasn't enough time.
But heres the great thing about AskLRR. The questions never change.
This week or next week, its all the same thread.
Gaming changes on a weekly (or perhaps biweekly) basis.
