This is, by far, the most hilarious podcast yet. Or that I can remember, anyways.

Also, Quebec is stealing my electricity, true story.

I'll admit it, "Wullet Bitch" is probably the thing that I laughed at the most out of any podcast you guys have ever done, probably because of how much I loathe that game.

... or at least it was up until the part where you started making fun of the French. So politically incorrect, and sooo funny XD

Someone needs to make box art for Wullet Bitch (or alternately Mullet Bitch).

I agree with the above as well as Kathleen's comment at the end that it's one of the "stupidest" podcasts you've ever had. Pat really took it off track at times, but with hilarious results. There were a few one-liners that, while potentially horribly offensive, had me stifling my laughter at work.

In a few months, Jer will have to post the photoshop in this thread or something, because it sounds pretty funny. I think I like the idea of Paul's luge halfpipe biathon as a more entertaining spectator sport, however.

I think the brewery is ran by Belgians, cause every beer they make is a Belgian style...

Regarding the up = up vs. up = down debate:

Imagine the plane you move your mouse in(or the analog stick, if you prefer to play first person games with inferior control), marked with the four cardinal directions.

In up = up, the plane is oriented vertically, such that the left and right directions pass through the ears, up goes out the top of the head, down goes into the neck.

In up = down, the plane is instead horizontal. Left and right still at the ears, but up goes out the front of the head and down goes out the back.

Most people prefer one over the other, but it seems like most people prefer the up = up method. However, they both make sense.

In flight sim-type games, I can work either way within a couple minutes (most of the time, anyways). But in FPSs and the like, when I push the stick "up" I want to look "up". Inverted controls just don't work for me.

Inverted controls.

Anything else is blasphemy.

Think about it, if the stick represents the character's head, push his head forwards and he's gonna be looking down.

Non-inverted look always screws me up.

Wait, what stick? There's no stick on a keyboard. . . is there? What kind of messed up PC do you use for gaming?

It seems to me that moving the mouse forward should move the camera up. For one, 'forward' for the mouse is in the same direction as the 'up' arrow key. And when you move the mouse forward, the cursor moves up on the screen; the camera tracks the cursor, thus, forward = up.

One has to remember that they are controlling a camera, not a puppet.

Think of the mouse laser or optic as an axis then.

I seriously cannot play any game with camera controls that don't allow you to invert y.

It's like trying to drive a car with the brake on the right side.

Here's why, when dealing with look controls, inverted controls don't work for me: I'm looking at a monitor in front of me, the screen is aligned vertically, so for ease of use, I mentally align my hand movements to the screen (as if I'm using the screen as a mousepad). So, when I move my hand forwards/up, I want my view to do the same thing, because that's where I want to look. Another way of looking at it: You're not moving the head, you're moving the crosshairs, and the head follows to match. Same reason why when I push my mouse forward, the cursor on my screen goes up.

'kay, I still love the podcast and all, but I've gotta say, the line about Australian's being douches was a dick move.

Dale Begg-Smith was born Canadian, yes. He's been Australian for years and won Gold in the Mens Moguls in Torino. I'm glad that Alexandre won it this time and I'm perfectly fine with Australia getting Silver over Canada. As long as it's not an American, awesome.

Need I mention the woman from the long track speed skating who won Gold FOR Canada was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia? Huh.. Australian mother, Canadian father. Therefore, there's absolutely no reason to simply insult Dale for being unpatriotic or whatever. Yes, he's quiet and often cold and blank when he's talking, meh, so what?

Anyway, with that minor gripe over, back to the podcast! I'll edit with further thoughts later. o.o

I gotta say this was the funniest podcast in a while.
Wullet BITCH!!! haha that is hilarious. I hated the Italian Guy, so frustrating!!! but interesting hypothesis.
Funny I thought you guys delivered ENN live as well.
Mirror's Edge had potential, but the product that was sold... not so much
HAHA Making fun of the French is pretty damn funny.
(PS I would make fun of Louisiana, but it's right next to my state... and it looks like a shoe... which could kick me in the balls. Dick Disasters)

Your mother is a Romanian and your father smells of Albanian cheese!

But in all seriousness, what's the big freakin' deal against Australia? Hell, Canada is as much of the meat in an American sandwich as Australia is Britain's. New Zealand just happens to be the side of salad.

Since I'm late to the conversation, I'm going not quote anyone, but "up-down" debate:

As MG said, I usually hold my controller faced towards me, not the ceiling, so up means up. On a computer, or a lateral faced controller, I can see up being "down"/towards you. I think it just has to do with alignment.
