Re: LRRcast for Echo
I hate to be a pain, but you forgot to insert the Andy-cast that you mistakenly inserted at the end of last week's podcast.
Re: LRRcast for Echo
Actually, I didn't. Garageband sucks shit and I'm going to find a new way of doing podcasts.

I've always thought of the Echo as something like the Shambe Orb:

@Paul; Cloud's been voiced by Steve Burton in at least.. Kingdom Hearts 2, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII ("The Early Years, filled with truth and Zack~) and Dissidia: Final Fantasy (Super Smash Final Fantasy..)
Just FYI..

Re: LRRcast for Echo
Y'know the one thing that I would really hope for in a FF7 remake is really only the line "This guy are sick."
~I'm probably not serious~
Oh and you can just call me Dave.
No need for the whole screen name.

Re: LRRcast for Echo
The one thing I would hope for in an FF7 remake is to have actually played then original by then. I know, I know. I've tried like four times so far and have never made it past the first disc. I bought it on the PSN to play on my PSP with the hope that the smaller screen will mitigate the polygonal graphics. I mean, I WANT to beat it, but it sure doesn't want to meet me in the middle.

This seems like an opportunity for an LRR widget to keep up on progress.
How do you know the backlog should not be one year and are in fact 21 days ahead of schedule?

Hey what the.. OOIII!
Well I guess karma's a bitch. I did poke fun on Matt's expense once.
Atleast I know that my package is on the way.

In retaliation to the Alice in Chains question; I love Alice in Chains, but the Beatles and Coldplay as Alice in Chains... meehhnn... no. I wouldn't do that. Graham naming porn of the top of his head = Epic.

Re: LRRcast for Echo
Graham's echo sounds like Matt because Matt is Future Graham.
I'd be okay with the Alice in Chains option. I'm only just recovering from going off them completely for a couple of years because one of my friends - who lived in the same house as me and co-presented a radio show with me - kept on playing the same AiC songs over and over again, but since in this scenario I could listen to lots of different songs, just in the AiC style, I don't think it'd be as bad. I'd prefer every song to sound like the Evil Superstars, but I could manage.
Besides, it could be fun. People would ask "Mike, why have you suddenly started going to Miley Cyrus gigs?" and I'd just giggle hysterically.

Re: LRRcast for Echo
You know, Mats Johnson isn't a unusual name in Sweden, especially the last name Johnson, it has to be in top 10 of Swedish last names.
Re: LRRcast for Echo
I'm sure it's never occurred to you, Mats, since it's your name. Understand that we mean no offense... but it's really funny to talk about sending a "package" to Matt's johnson.

Re: LRRcast for Echo
Thanks for the podcast. Been missing WWPN though.
Just call me Dylan. It's easier to pronounce.

Oh no, I spotted this joke years ago when I first came here, never thought it would show up though.
And I've been mentionedn in the LRRcast, twice! =D
Also for the record, I don't spell my last name with an H.
Re: LRRcast for Echo
I know you don't. I was referring to a johnson, not a Jonsson.

Re: LRRcast for Echo
Okay LRR. With the whole "Zombies + BC Ferries" thing, I called "shotgun" on that a looooong time ago. Also, what would happen if you didn't know how to run the ship or how to take care of the ship hm?
....
Okay at the very least can I come join you guys if I promise to bring a whole bunch of my dad's engineering buddies? (He used to work on the Queen of Saanich and knows a lot about the Spirit of Vancouver Island, as do his buddies.)

Of course I'm out of my mind. It's dark and scary in there!
