I didn't mean anything by it, and I asked to have it cut from the podcast. I had forgotten I'd even said it until I got a PM, and now I feel terrible.

So, without rehashing it - my bad, I'll watch my language and call Megatron what he should be called - an asshole.

I'm not sure that term is as much an offensive term for a specific peoples as it is just an offensive term these days, sort of how saying the N word is bad in pretty much any context now, not just when African-heritage people are in the room.

Still worse than asshole or dickwad or somesuch though, so apology certainly required to keep things kosher (...that's an odd thing to say in this context) and kudos to Kathleen for stepping into the press office and delivering one.

It's funny, I listened to a different podcast where you get bleeped for some word in a similar way. Are we thinking of the same podcast, cuz I would swear it was a somewhat older podcast (at earliest, maybe the second FFXIII thing).
