Wasn't there an animated one before about a kid who was mauled by a bear? Or am I imagining things? Maybe it was a T-shirt ad, not a full video?

A lot of those things, like the Blammimation, or the Professor Brothers, or 9 O'Clock Meeting, or Doctor Katz, I think get their energy from being heavily improvised and then edited down. Maybe you could record something like you do the Phailhouse and then illustrate it.

I am sad no one mentioned the Super Mario Galaxy Soundtrack. Then again I just really love it.

Kathleen, let me make this clear, no flattery required.

There were TWO things I might have changed about that cartoon.

1. I would have had a lip-flap to indicate who's talking.
2. I wouldn't have reused the image of the guy looking down at the book in the shot at the different angle.

And if "real animation" on the Escapist consists of GAME DOGS, then fuck real animation. I'll take yours every day of the week.

FIRST THEY GONNA "ASK"
THEN THEY GONNA "LRR"
THEN THEY GONNA STOP
NO, WE WANT MO'!

LRR GONNA GIVE IT TO YA, THEY GON GIVE IT TO YA, LRR GONNA GIVE IT TO YA, THEY GONNA GIVE IT YA

AskLRR that is. Graham reminded me of that song for some reason.

As an advisory to the bit about game soundtracks? The BlazBlue games have AMAZING SONGS.

As for possible Unskippable Live games, if it were me, I would use something that isn't an RPG. You were killed by the sexy ape because you hadn't spent any time levelling up in the canyon, and that was okay this time because there was an hour and a half of faffing about before the real game started. To do more of Legaia / another RPG, though, you would run the risk of either having to spend most of the time grinding to level up, or dying really quickly. With some other genre of game, though, you could jump right in and move forward much more quickly, and if you found one with lots of cutscenes, there would still be plenty of dialogue and whatnot on which to riff.

Also, I play the same instrument as Graham! Sweet!

Just a note: In Kingdom Hearts Micky has perspective accurate ears. It's actually kind of strange after watching his ears in 'fixed-to-camera' mode for so long. That said, I can't wait for Epic Micky! It my just be me, but the ink seems a lot like the Heartless... Also, I've had all the current types of Mountain Dew, Baja Blast is available at any US Taco Bell, and Throwback is Mountain Dew with real sugar. Also, Voltage is the best.
EDIT:

I usually don't go out of my way to criticize something, but I agree 100%. Who thought that show was a good idea?

Beyond Good & Evil has a great soundtrack.

And while I don't disagree with your decision for Cowboy Bebop as having a great soundtrack (I still listen to that), FLCL and Samurai Champloo have excellent soundtracks as well.

It was A Little TOO Human, as an aside for Kathleen to expound upon the horror of bears.

You were wondering what Baja Blast was? It's the special flavor that's exclusive to Taco Bell. It's Mountain Dew and pina colada. Which, if Mountain Dew tastes like urine to you, this stuff will taste like asparagus urine.

I must say I could take a liking to the first and last songs you linked quite easily.

Also this was at least the third time talking about your instuments in a podcast! However the question was asked before "Ways to wake up" went up.

Are there any Unskippable-worthy RPGs with New Game+? That would solve the grinding problem, but the only games I can think of with that feature range from really good to **.
