The podcast is already up?
Re: LRRcast for Discount Deals
Thanks for answering my questions, especially Kathleen's confirmation on Devil Survivor being good. It will be at the top of my list for purchasing with a 3DS when I get one around winter.
Also, Jer, those answers you gave for most anticipated games of the year were exactly what I expected.

After hearing mention of A Few Old Tunes, I found it in maybe a minute... Just thought I'd say that. Am I just THAT internet? Also, LRR could totally do a drama, you all ooze creativity, and epicness.
Re: LRRcast for Discount Deals
On the subject of rum and coke, I'm pretty partial to Captain Morgan's Spiced as my rum of choice, and I agree with your statements that the taste is pretty much Vanilla Coke. It's all about finding the right mixture ratio for whatever alcohol you have.

I'd like to reiterate the sentiment regarding cider - delicious and a good way of getting into drinking (it's how i did it) - but i'd recommended almost anything other than Strongbow. Bulmers, who makes Strongbow, is a much better variety of Cider. Magners, an irish variety, is also good.
most cider is better than strongbow
most cider is better than strongbow

Nothing against Sailor Jerry, but it's 92 proof. That might not be the best way to go for someone who doesn't like the taste of alcohol. (Or they need to mix it better than I did the last time I had it.)

Re: LRRcast for Discount Deals
Actually, if I can have a suggestion, first find yourself a good bartender at a good bar - ask around, online or elsewhere - and then simply ask them to make you something. Good barkeeps have recipes up their sleeves for just such occasions.
iamafish, Strongbow is probably not good where you're from, compared to the quantity of quality cider makers. However, here in BC, the alternative 'ciders' are in fact basically fruit juice mash-ups with added artificial flavours and cheap vodka. It's the same thing as Heineken; sure, it's not that good, but compared to Budweiser it's a miracle.

Thanks for the feed back guys! I had assumed you'd been Thundercats fans , too bad you never really watched it. I think I might come back to the comic and do the last page, but there's something else I'm working on now that needs all my time.
Also, I realise I could have truncated my question and put it more succinctly. Sorry Graham that you had to trudge through the reading of it.

Magners is good cider.
I like Southern Comfort and lemonade, if I want a sweet drink. Other than that, I stick to Guiness or JD and coke.
As for the podcast, I laughed because this is the second time I've asked some questions and the second time I've simply been referred to as "that guy."
I grin. Thanks for answering them, guys, I found the answers really informative. I like hearing about the production process of your vids, it's just something I find really interesting.

That's why we recommended it actually, it didnt taste like booze to us.
Re: LRRcast for Discount Deals
I guess what I meant was that I was surprised, given it's higher than usual alcohol content, that it didn't taste like booze, especially since that was not my experience with it. I then speculated that I just mixed it too strongly.
Clearly this calls for additional testing on my part. To the liquor store!

Sailor Jerry's is indeed good. Perhaps a booze thread is in order.
As to the Lovecraft monster mentioned in the beginning of the podcast, it was also brought up in the Fun with Condoms video.

I'm surprised you don't have Bulmers, given that it's made by the same company.

Re: LRRcast for Discount Deals
Yay, my questions got answered. Thanks for the absolutely not useless BC geography lesson.
Call me elitist but I won't even consider cider (or perry) unless its from a West Country man by the side of the road with porridge in his beard. Being the card carrying CAMRA man I am, I'm similarly snobbish regarding beers generally. Spiced rum and coke and coke is a personal favourite light alcoholic drink, though.
Aw, that's kind of harsh, ne?

They know what they did!
yes they answered other peoples questions after they so kindly answered yours, lets be honest here they are amazing that they even do podcasts for us let alone answer our all of questions.
being able to ask questions is an amazing gift, why should multiple people not have there question asked because you dont like listening to magic discussion?
EDIT: i know you mean it lightheartedly and what not, feel free to ignore my ravings

It's okay, we cool.
I'll just go buy my OWN pie.
...and then eat it all at once and weep softly.

Re: LRRcast for Discount Deals
I'd make you a pie. If I knew how. And if I could then somehow get it to you. So, while my assertion is essentially useless, the thought is still there.
